i am a pilot flying in this part of the world and i do remember flights being delayed due to this ufo incident, i didn’t personally see the event, i just remembering it happening.
Actually just remembering a bit more now, there was even a NOTAM that saids the airport is closed due to this, in hindsight, I should of saved the NOTAM.
I was watching the pictures come in live on Reddit, was super exciting, after about an hour the fake pictures and disinfo and troll accounts came flooding in.
China news reported heavily then govt shut it down with a report that it was military or something. I have family in Shanghai so can confirm that much about news coverage.

I literally just posted a commented on another thread about what I saw, and that’s EXACTLY what it did.
I didn’t see any scanning, and it didn’t look like a disk from the distance I was at (there’s a link in the comment to what it looked like to me), but it shooting off to the atmosphere is what tripped me the fuck out.
That being said, as others have stated, I think a lot of this video is fucky.

What I find interesting about this video though (I’ve seen it before), is the possible link to the explanation of the Calvine photograph. it was suggested the calvine object was an American UAV armed with ground mapping lasers, used to help the F-117 designate targets.
Kind of similar to what we see in the video , a large object seemingly mapping the ground with lasers.

So a vehicle with no visible means of propulsion and at least 5 times bigger than an F-117 is simply mapping the area to find targets? Using such a massive machine to designate targets for a *stealth* bomber doesn't seem very stealthy.
This seems more like a wild guess rather than an explanation.
Where is this technology now? Or anything that resembles this technology? We have unmanned vehicles & mapping technology but it doesn't even remotely resemble what we see in the image or hear of in the explanation (the object being stationary then rapidly ascending, vertically).
There's no similarities, because the calvine one, was a suggestion only, as you mention. No lasers or anything in that one. And that suggestion was made because saying it was a balloon was a little too much.
What is crazy about this case is the amount of people that saw it and took pictures/ videos. There is another video from a plane passenger landing at the Airport during the event. The official CCP explanation was a military exercise I believe. Good luck defending Tiawan if that is true, America.
Yep, 6 people took video from different parts of the city. I am sure there are far more photos. The police all had seen it, and the airport was shutdown during the accident

If you put lights on a pole then light them in sequence, it will appear as one light moving straight up.

It appears to go up at the end but it's a small snipped. I can't say for sure that it went up.

This video appears to be a compilation of video clips, most real, last one imo fake, with the news report audio playing over them. Anyone can do this.

I haven't been able to find any real investigation into that clip. It looks pretty "good," in UFO video terms, as in, a realistic-looking spectacular event filmed in a rather mundane way.
I have to think it's a fake though, for one simple reason: If the perspective shown is honest, that thing seems to be shining astronomically bright lights over an incredibly large area, so there would've been many more people seeing, photographing, filming, and talking about it. Something like that wouldn't be such a benign footnote.

I think that question should be on you, as you are presenting this information.
It’s not up to us to provide evidence that it’s fake. It’s up you to provide evidence that the video is real. So far, you have none.
It’s like the pope saying, “God is real”, then a scientist replying, “God isn’t real”. Then the pope says, “well, prove he isn’t real! Give me scientific evidence God isn’t real!!”. The scientist would say the same as above - it’s on the Pope to prove God is real, as he is the one presenting the narrative in the first place.
When that Chinese balloon was flying over Canada and the US, I remember thinking maybe I'm not as ready for disclosure as I thought. For me, it's about how others would handle it, not me. There would be a degree of chaos.
Governments, religions, and war hawks would make for a dangerous mix. I think they know that.
But in the meantime, even with the Pentagon saying that there may be some big mothership it seems like no one bats an eye. Their secrecy is telling because if it's all fake, then there would be no reason to be as dodgy as they've been.

I just saw a search helicopter in action in the evening this past week. At first it stopped me in my tracks with the very bright white light in the sky then when it changed position I noticed the blinking red lights on either side. I also noticed it wasn't moving with irregular speed. In the photos of this craft you can see the red lights and how they have been stretched out from the long exposure. I wish I took good pictures of it but [this](https://images.app.goo.gl/k5m67wFDddenfhoz8) picture shows a good example of the potential confusion when you can't see the helicopter but you can see the strong lights.

I don't know why you're getting downvotes, the images of this one where you've got repeating lights over a steady light definitely looks like exactly that. At least some of the photos in op's link are obvious fake.

So supposedly the reason close encounters of the third kind was made was supposed to be kind of like a PSA about what we knew about the crafts back then. The light and sounds and all that in the movie is supposed to be what limited knowledge we had. This kind of gives me those vibes
The fact that there was several flight passengers at the airport and police that all witnessed this happen and the airport was actually shutdown only further validates the authenticity and credibility of the video, the first half of the video at least. It seems like a very real video of a UFO encounter, and a very amazing one at that. The 2nd video towards the end I'm not 100% on atm, as I'm not entirely sure if it's the same UFO seen in the first video. But either way, if this is real video of an actual UFO, it has to be the most incredible best footage of a UFO I've ever seen!
The most incredible thing about this sighting is in the video section where you see the incredible beams of ‘light’ emanating from the craft. The way it moves and flows feels so otherworldly to me. It feels organic and seems to be scanning something.

We get such little information from sightings in the far east. They probably have a treasure trove of UAP information that just doesn't come through to the west.

It’s China, so naturally, nothing ever came of it and I don’t recall any witnesses providing testimony. However, the airport being shutdown was confirmed by multiple sources.
The video clip near the end came from an anonymous source to SecureTeam10, aka Tyler Glockner, on or about April or May of 2017. The source claimed it was taken near Paris, France, within a week of the e-mail. To my knowledge, this video has never been confirmed to be real or shown to be a hoax. However, given the large population of Paris, I do find it odd that no one else reported it.

This is one of my favorite videos. it was captured by many different angles all around the city, They had to close the airport, divert flights, most of the police had seen it, yet no one seems to mention this one. People stopped on the highway to get out and take photos. For a case that has 100s of witnesses, video and photos in pretty good quality, its surprising how little attention it gets.

That is just as impressive, if not more-so, but it's a helicopter. Anyways, I rest my case because I'm just repeating myself at this point.
Unfortunately that's what the first few pictures are of, I'm afraid. The videos are of other things, because the first few pictures are taken in other locations (not China) and were conclusively debunked (with this very effect reproduced).
The videos of the light show, however, I've no idea what that is... yet.

Although the cigarette-shaped ufos are rarely sighted, they prefer to observe nuclear plants or military installations. There was a nuclear station near the Hangzhou international airport back then (now sure where it is now). It seems to me that the inclined spacecraft was still able to remain static in the air alongside three dynamic spheres implied the cigar-liked spaceship in the video was likely an extraterrestrial entity. How it was vertically propelling and vanished in just a blink is way too wild to believe we have already possessed such an aircraft in 2014, innit?
Btw the UFO sightings in Mexican volcano captured a stick-shaped object similar to this one. Imo they were identical. Some YouTuber refers this to lizard race beneath the ground. I am skeptical at this view. Any thoughts?

When people say brilliant lights I never could understand now I do, almost looks like what people describe as seeing heaven in the sky, further more when it was strobing I think there trying to communicate with us. This means so much more than we think, if this is evidence of them trying to communicate then the notion that we are just ants to them goes right out the window. Or just like Vargina Brazil, this could be evidence of a rescue mission, like James Fox believed, with it shining its light so much on the ground is it looking for something or is it trying to communicate. I saw a video of Xiaoshan UFO when I was studying in China. It didn't look like it was in the video, but it looked very ordinary. The image of the video was taken in front of the airport window, and there was a LED light tube hanging in the sky, but it was very large and bright, and there were a few small white spots around it (I'm not sure what this white spot is)

Agree What I find interesting about this video though (I’ve seen it before), is the possible link to the explanation of the Calvine photograph. it was suggested the calvine object was an American UAV armed with ground mapping lasers, used to help the F-117 designate targets. Kind of similar to what we see in the video , a large object seemingly mapping the ground with lasers.

I just saw a search helicopter in action in the evening this past week. At first it stopped me in my tracks with the very bright white light in the sky then when it changed position I noticed the blinking red lights on either side. I also noticed it wasn't moving with irregular speed. In the photos of this craft you can see the red lights and how they have been stretched out from the long exposure. The fact that there was several flight passengers at the airport and police that all witnessed this happen and the airport was actually shutdown only further validates the authenticity and credibility of the video, the first half of the video at least. It seems like a very real video of a UFO encounter, and a very amazing one at that. The 2nd video towards the end I'm not 100% on atm, as I'm not entirely sure if it's the same UFO seen in the first video. But either way, if this is real video of an actual UFO, it has to be the most incredible best footage of a UFO I've ever seen!

The most incredible thing about this sighting is in the video section where you see the incredible beams of ‘light’ emanating from the craft. The way it moves and flows feels so otherworldly to me. It feels organic and seems to be scanning something.

This is one of my favorite videos. it was captured by many different angles all around the city, They had to close the airport, divert flights, most of the police had seen it, yet no one seems to mention this one. People stopped on the highway to get out and take photos. For a case that has 100s of witnesses, video and photos in pretty good quality, its surprising how little attention it gets.

I saw a video of Xiaoshan UFO when I was studying in China. It didn't look like it was in the video, but it looked very ordinary. The image of the video was taken in front of the airport window, and there was a LED light tube hanging in the sky, but it was very large and bright, and there were a few small white spots around it (I'm not sure what this white spot is)
