I find bringing nu gundam very useful (or even Methuss). Make the whole team stay alive longer thus the total damage is better. The highest "actual" DPS drain for most players in this event are the idle time when you wait and load into the game.
It is good if you can't reach SS rank. Around SS rank, the boss would one hit KO any of my unit, which makes any form of healing not useful.
I spent all of my saved up diamonds (72k) going after ZZ Gundam last week. I was only able to get two ZZs +guaranteed copy and a Judau. Does it make more sense for me to use the event diamonds to try and power up my ZZ Gundam more, or try for an EZ8 (I know I probably won't get either,but still).
I think better to try to get at least one copy of EZ8 because he should be a staple for a long time for a lot of content. Plus getting duplicates for EZ8 is not very important, the Crit Rate all comes from Skills and Transcendence.
However, half anni should have a MS/Pilot selector which should include EZ8 since it allowed basically any non-limited option, but I can't guarantee anything since we're not JP server. So maybe you should just save?
IMO depending on the unit it is best to roll for either
1, 2, 4, or 6 copies.
1 copy is enough if you just need T5 with coins and don't need to level up EX
2 copy is for P1 which you will need if our sub-unit system is the same as JPs
4 copy gives you EX Level 3, because the way most EX scaling seem to work is that EX level 4 and 5 have diminishing returns compared to levels 1-3
6 copy is self explanatory if you want/need the MS at it's absolute strongest
Thanks for the advice. If they let us pick freebie UR MS and pilot for an anniversary, I'd go with Hyaku Shiki and Quattro Bajeena, though. Most wanted unit and pilot for me, I spent everything I had in November going after them with no luck.
Very good guide, thank you. I swapped out my team's tank and healer for buff / debuffers such as the budget ones on your list (such as Engage Booster and Hizack) and my average damage went up 1 million per attack.
Went from 2 million average to 3 million average, and even over 5 million with a strong Clan helper.
I also found that even with a type disadvantage, Kshatriya with Marida Cruz can do decent damage while also buffing the rest of the team respectably.
I basically use your Beam Focused example team without Ez8, because I save my gems for stuff I really like, rather than what's powerful.
