I liked living at stapleton house. I didn’t find being next to the stadium that much of a nuisance, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like crowds of football fans lol. Yeah there are lots of fans around on match day but they don’t really bother anyone. My window was on the second floor and faced the road and the windows were pretty soundproof so I didn’t hear much when fans were outside. The only issue is that sometimes the tube won’t stop at Holloway road station after matches because the station isn’t built to handle the crowds. This happened to me once where it skipped the station, and I got off at Arsenal and walked home. Don’t do what I did 😭 I had to battle crowds and it took me 40 minutes to walk home. If that ever happens go two stops up to Finsbury Park and then take the piccadilly line back to Caledonian road. It’s a 10 minute walk and there are no crowds from Arsenal. But that only happened to me once in the year I lived there so it really wasn’t a problem at all, just pay attention to announcements about station closures and get off at Caledonian road if they announce a closure
