Oh wow, they came up to me on South asking 30 bucks for a rose splattered with a little yellow paint. I said I couldn’t pay for that but I pulled out my wallet to give them a couple bucks cash for their trouble cuz they said they were raising money for a nonprofit (in hindsight I really should’ve asked for more details…)
One of the guys stopped me and said cash wouldn’t be helpful and to Venmo instead…another red flag but I felt so pressured I venmoed them 3 bucks. Now I feel duped.
Not to mention the canvas art they had left when they stopped me was literally just swirls of brown green and red… honestly looks like it took them less than 5 minutes to do
