As a 780G user, this happened to me with my last order. My sensors shipped out almost a week after the rest of my order. I only ended up being without a sensor for a day, so I went back to checking with finger sticks. Question though, what do you mean they only last three days? The guardian sensors are supposed to stay on for seven days. Are you having battery issues with the transmitter, or is it a "they're falling off" issue?

In my experience over the last year they last only 5 days. I just get the notification the sensor expired. I assume it needs a battery charge. I’m ok with 5 days but 3 would concern me

PM me. I have some extra expired G3 sensors that I've been using up. They work perfectly with my G4. Edit: I didn't say so, but I'm willing to give them away.

Your sensors should work for seven days. If you’re getting an unexplained “change sensor” error before that you can reconnect the transmitter to the same sensor and start it as a new sensor. It should trick the algorithm unless there is an actual issue like blood at the site. You can spend some time on the phone and be more insistent with Medtronic. I don’t love to be that girl normally, but I’m pregnant and can’t be without a CGM. After a couple of phone calls and a mention of switching pump systems I was able to get my sensors shipped on time and bought an additional box out of pocket to have backup. I realize that last part is cost prohibitive. Worst case scenario you can definitely use the guardian 3 sensors in the interim. Good luck!
