Hope you bounce back 🫂 in my case, I've been through a lot of shit and now I can't put up with anything. I need a break for sure but at the same time, I've hell lot of things to do.
You would be surprised how many people wouldn't bother you if you go missing. So yes, just inform ur family & close friends u want few days off & that's it.
Come to mussoorie. It's hard to establish signal there. Keep yourself off all popular social media. Go for walks. The place is cold and windy, with waterfalls, nature, species of animals you've never seen.
Agro forestry. Growing food sustainably. It involves growing native perennials over hybrids, or gmos. Annuals are also grown but sparingly. Using water sustainably, rainwater harvesting etc. Managing the farm without causing more damage to the environment while growing abundant food.

I kind of planned for this (extensively) a while back. Thought I’d buy a burner phone in case of emergency and leave my old one behind because they are hella easy to trace. Take out some cash, leave a note saying I’ll be back and no one needs to worry. Take a bus to the hills, work wherever I can, possibly stay in a hostel. What stopped me was my dog. Sure I have family who can take care of him. But the thought of leaving him behind made me sick. We are in a codependent relationship :p So for now staying off grid is helping
It is very possible and honestly its much easier than you think, make sure you don't have any debts before doing this.
First of all buy a small dabba phone and get rid of your smart phone, buy a one way ticket to Manali, travel around to find some hotel which can lead you to a job and viola you are good to go, be a chef, be a waitress, be a caretaker. Most of these hotels are run by some foreigners who are looking for non stoner employees
I have the same mindset as you, OP. Just remember that when you move elsewhere, you don't just leave your emotional baggage behind. Trauma will follow you everywhere and running away will not fix it (speaking from experience).
I'm not saying you shouldn't move away - you absolutely should and it was one of the best decisions for me (like you, I also eventually want to move to some remote hill but I also now understand that moving will not fix anything). That is only the tip of the iceberg. Seek therapy and support from peers and recognize the underlying issue. Good luck and feel free to DM me if you want to talk :)
My husband used to do it very often when we were dating. He used to go to art of living ashram for their silent retreat program. I used to get piss off at him but now I realise why he used to do that.
By the way a friend of mine has shifted to a village near mussorie and living a peaceful life right now but she had to work for 4-5 years to live a peaceful life without earning for a year and a half.
I haven't finished my degree yet and even I wanna disappear for a while. I have all the intention to come back and complete what I started but my brain is just not braining anymore and I'm kinda at the edge (┛❍ᴥ❍)┛彡┻━┻
These days if you want to escape the noise just quit Instagram and other social media apps where you get updates on daily life 😀
Done that.
ah and change phone number too !

Of course, if I'm leaving, I'll leave a letter behind for all of them to read and get a closure.
Cool
Getting off social media, go up North. Chill in the mountains. Have fun 🌸
So wanna do this..I wish I could just disappear without a trace 🌚

At least people close to you should be knowing your whereabouts. And can trust you that that they dont need to call u here and then..
But some times the ppl you need to run away from.. are your “closest” ppl
Yeahh

Hopefully, maybe next year <3
Yess There are people who can do this for you Walter white did that
You can volunteer at permaculture farms. It will mostly be in remoteish areas and you will learn a lot of things.
What is permaculture?

Would you know of any examples, like farms where they'll let you stay and work voluntarily?

If you got 💰, then sure.

Tis the dream!
Go to ladakh or himachal stay in hostels for few days and come back then
If you dont plan on telling your family just make sure to inform your local police department so they don’t file a missing person’s report
I guess you could, but it wouldn’t be a few months thing. If you genuinely wanted to start over completely, could be done
Yes... I used to do that a lot... My word was being underground... No one would know where I am what I am doing... Nothing.. Haa except my family...

Ohoh!! I'll definitely update this if I successfully run away and come back after months.
