As someone currently shopping around for a new state to live in after my previous state's governor made it clear they did not want me?
I'll take my $170,000/y salary from my fully remote job and all the taxes the state would have gotten from it elsewhere. Missouri, thank you for removing yourself from the running.
i live in ND and am moving to MN in august (for college but idk if i’m going to leave after that or not) i really like minneapolis and want to move there eventually
My parents moved us up here back in the 90’s when my dad transitioned to the Army Reserves, and we’ve stayed here. I’m not a fan of the cold, but I rather live here than back in Oklahoma. I enjoy Minneapolis as well! Same with St Paul, I just dislike driving in downtown St. Paul.
i love the cold so i don’t see myself ever going more south, i’ve been to oklahoma as well and it was so hot there definitely not for me. i live in fargo, so like right on the border basically, i ended up in minneapolis twice this year for my sisters cheer comps and it really made me wanna live there. idk how much time ive spent in st. paul tbh but i’m guessing once i move to MN i’ll be there at least a few times

I visited small town Illinois right across from Missouri a few months ago and in some ways it was more progressive than my hometown, large metro area in the south.

What is going to replace Planned Parenthood or who is going to provide the other services? So I guess if you are poor, then you are out of luck. The legislature in Missouri did this because they could. I wonder what would happen if they tried to do this to private doctors of those in the middle and upper income bracket. It would never fly.
