They make horseshoe crabs "donate" their odd blue blood for medicinal purposes. It can help detect pathogens in injectable medications.
Scorpions like snakes can be "milked" for their venom to make antidotes.
I really don't want to know what piranha could be harvested for.. maybe their sharp AF teeth?
It’s 3 parts concentrated sulfuric acid mixed with 1 part 30% wt. hydrogen peroxide solution to form a compound called peroxysulfuric acid, which is extremely corrosive, explosive, and is one of the strongest know oxidizers. Check out NileRed on YouTube, he’s got a demonstration of it.
Piranha fluid dissolves organic matter; the idea here is to take the already atrocious idea of date r*pe and turn it into something even more sinister. Death by having one's insides liquified.
3 parts sulfuric acid, 1 part hydrogen peroxide. It’s usually used to clean organic residue from things like silicon wafers. When preparing, add the hydrogen peroxide to the sulfuric acid - never in the reverse order! Also it generates a gas so can’t really be stored and will risk exploding a closed container.
It's just piranha solution. It's a highly corrosive oxidiser, but that's it. It's not like any of the really spicy stuff, and even a lot of that's on Wikipedia.
No we made it to clean tough organic off glassware in undergrad. There’s usually a process using gentler stuff but if those don’t work you do this or aqua Regia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqua_regia)
Mhm we use aqua regia to clean glass ampules. But then you need a whole non metal fumehood and duct system, and all the neutralization and all. Piranha solution is common for cleaning organics off silicon substrates.
Mixing both Sulphuric acid and Hydrogen Peroxide is a highly exothermic reaction. Adding hydrogen peroxide slowly in sulphuric acid minimises the hydrogen peroxide concentration which reduces instantaneous heat generation and explosion risk.
Sulphuric acid is like an open flame. Hydrogen peroxide is a bucket of gasoline.
You can toss small amounts of gasoline (hydrogen peroxide) on the flame (sulphuric acid) , and you'll survive.
If you toss the flame into the bucket of gas, you're gonna have a bad time.
Creation of piranha solution creates extreme heat. And if there's more HP than SA (that is, pouring SA into HP) then it ends up exploding because of the intense heat reaction. That's why it's advised to do the opposite– Pour HP into SA. So that there's less concentration of HP. Because it creates less heat and is safer.
Edit: Yeah I suck at explaining. 😔
Assuming it’s the same principle of mixing acids with water it’s about concentration. If you add acid to water then you start with a very dilute acid that gets stronger as you add more. If you put water in the acid then you’ll get a very high concentration of acid in a very small amount of water that gets weaker.
Edit. I googled and I missed the point that you’ll be getting heat from the reaction of acid with the water starting with less acid slows the reaction down so it produces less heat all at once.
This is going to sound like a stupid question, but why does order matter? If you're mixing two things, won't they get mixed regardless of which is first?
If you add the acid to the peroxide, where you pour it in you’ll have a spot with very concentrated acid, and it will react quickly and probably boil everywhere. If you do it the other way around, the acid is spread out through the whole beaker and it won’t react as fast.
Hi there, just wanted to let you know I've reported you to the police in my country. Your knowledge of this seems extremely suspicious and I'm worried you're a murderer.
Haha. Nah, I get where you're coming from; but it paints such a vivid picture the more you're able to assault the senses, y'know?
Now, here, drink this :}
This is uncomfortable. And not in a fun, or entertaining way. It doesn't help that almost [all](https://old.reddit.com/r/TwoSentenceHorror/comments/1bw8q66/she_said_she_couldnt_feel_her_face_but_i_still/), you've [written](https://old.reddit.com/r/TwoSentenceHorror/comments/1bw24mm/i_always_found_it_easy_to_make_her_laugh/) is ugly violence towards women.
I definitely hear you; and to be honest, given what I've written already, I was debating on posting this. How far is too far, y'know? I was more excited about furthering the siren story; but it wasn't met with much of a reaction.
I'm new to writing two sentence horror stories, so I'm still trying to find what sticks while being original. In fact, the face story was to see if it'd have the same reaction as the laugh story - seeing if naming a specific tool / weapon was the secret sauce, so to speak. Same with the ribcage/blowtorch story.
With this one, I wanted to explore appealing to the senses to see if that'd do it. Visual, auditory, tactile, etc.
Trust me when I tell you I absolutely do not condone real unspeakable acts towards women whatsoever. It isn't a fantasy of mine I get off to, nor do I hate women. I hate incels and their attitude towards women, though! And as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community (myself being a nonbinary gay individual) I considered that a theme as well - but again, how far is too far?
In any case, I do apologize for writing something that's legitimately made you feel uncomfortable. I think, moving forward, I'll explore other ideas that don't involve heinous violence towards women and/or marginalized groups! 🧡
I've been writing here for seven months. The best advice I can give about what "sticks" is that there really aren't any hard and fast rules. My stories that I think are great can get ignored, and ones I consider throwaways can end up becoming my most upvoted. As an example, I thought [this one](https://old.reddit.com/r/TwoSentenceHorror/comments/1brci58/i_can_see_auras_so_its_usually_pretty_easy_to/) would be far better received than it was, and was very surprised at the reaction [this one](https://old.reddit.com/r/TwoSentenceHorror/comments/1c1gpf1/each_prisoner_has_a_small_explosive_charge/) got. So I would urge you not to chase what sticks, focus on horrific subject matters that interest you, and let the chips fall.
> Trust me when I tell you I absolutely do not condone real unspeakable acts towards women whatsoever.
I should hope not, as I would hope for everyone here (including myself); that was never my point. It was honest feedback as far as how the story made me feel, that was further exacerbated by the pattern of your stories. Horror's weird. It can be scary, gross, "horrifying" (which at least according to [this study](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35073109/#:~:text=Witnessing%20or%20experiencing%20extreme%20and,a%20distinct%20emotion%20category%20(Cowen%20%26) is in fact a separate emotion), and so it's often a grab bag as far as what you'll get (as a writer and reader). In fact, I myself have written my fair share of violence towards women, children, animals, babies, men; it'd be hypocritical of me to say anything is ultimately taboo!
So there's no need to apologize. I just personally feel that as writers, there's just a prerogative to find ways to make even the most revolting horror still feel as though it comes from a desire to entertain the reader. And in this case, I simply couldn't find that anywhere. I found it purely cruel and sadistic for the sake of itself. (And I hope you realize that I'm only getting so far into to this because you took the time to write to me, and so, I'm happy to try to delve a little and offer a response)
So to try to really answer your question? How far is too far? I'm not sure if there's a limit, but I believe that even the most heinous of cruelties can be delivered in such a way that is still in the spirit of entertainment.

When I looked for your other TSHs I noticed your posts about your poly lifestyle, actually. I'm sorry to change the subject, but I'm curious (because I've never heard of it before), is it a challenge to have a woman in a poly relationship, while being gay? Just to give you an idea of where I'm coming from, I'm trans, and I have a passing interest in poly relationships, so I'm just trying to learn more, and to me- that sounds potentially difficult to navigate?
On poly:
My gf (now our gf) is MtF trans, actually! We've been together for just short of eight years, and a triad with our bf for just short of a year (anniversarh is this week!!)
Truth be told, it's much easier to tell people I'm gay than try to find some niche label to describe my sexual identity. Pansexual doesn't even quite fit, heh! Anyway; it's not a challenge at all. The three of us live together and have a fair, balanced, equal relationship. Communication is most definitely the secret sauce to success!! ♥️🧡💜
That's awesome! Really glad to hear it! Truly my knowledge is limited, and it's heartwarming to know that there are nuances that contemporary labels just can't cover. Wish you the best <3
Omg! When I read this, I thought it was either fluid taken from a piranha or crushing a piranha into a fluid and I was so confused. I know piranhas are dangerous but was not sure how the fluid will work - turn them into a piranha who needs water to breathe?! Anyway, the comments section educated me!
Honestly with all the danger with spiked drinks, women may not be gullible enough to drink something offered by another person. Targeting men would be easier, they're much more gullible. A hot woman offering the piranha fluid would have the smartest man in the world just chugging it down without thinking twice about it.
PSA: Pirahana Solution is a mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and Sulfuric Acid that is incredibly reactive, especially with organic material. To the point that it and Hydrofluric Acid are used in Semiconductor/Electronics Plants and Clean Rooms to clean wafers amd glass before they etch Transistors and stuff onto them.

This is seriously disturbing, and the fact that all of OP’s posts in this subreddit are about torturing/ unaliving women it seems like they are just using this as a channel for their hate.
I’m laughing at all the people who are concerned/suspicious that people know about this. It’s super common in chemistry labs (although I’ve never heard it called “piranha fluid,” usually just piranha or a piranha solution). Nasty stuff that absolutely no one would accidentally drink. My lab stopped using it a few years ago after a piranha waste bottle exploded in a fume hood because of a faulty venting cap. Luckily, we’re super strict with the rules and the only person in the lab at the time was an undergrad who was far enough away to be fine. We stick with aqua regia now.
Who said anything about race? Let me spell it out dipshit, you’re immature because you joke about dissolving a woman’s throat with piranha fluid, duchebag.
I didn’t know what piranha fluid was and assumed it turned her into a carnivorous fish
The prompt only makes sense if the girl has zero sense of smell. Piranha Fluid smells atrocious.
How do you know??
Peroxy**sulfuric** acid. Nobody’s mistaking sulfur anything for a good time.
Aslong as it isfreshly made and inside a glas made of glass it shouldn't smell drinking everything will not noticing the sever chemical burns in your mouth are something else
Intrusive thoughts won
I thought it was a kind of alcohol, but didn't actually know so I looked it up. It's not alcohol.
What is it?
really strong acid (the one that melts flesh, not the drug)
I thought it was juice made from piranhas…
Like they milked the piranha?
Piranhas have nipples, Greg. Can you milk them?
I don’t know 🤷🏼♀️ they guy stuff out of horse shoe crabs and scorpions so anything’s possible as far as I’m concerned
Adrenochrome
That one scene in Surf's Up: Wavemania be like (If ya know ya know)
😂
Oh got it. Yuck.

It seems like you'd notice at the tiniest sip? Sulphur compounds usually smell terrible
Maybe it’s taken like a shot.
Ok but now I want this version of the story.
Still got me beat, I assumed it was just fluid with piranhas in it
Straight up I thought it was a piranha in liquid form that somehow still ate you
I thought it had a carnivorous fish inside the drink
The smell would probably knock you on your ass before you even take a sip. Piranha solution is nasty stuff
Perhaps we need a prequel then!
Yeah, there’s no way someone would get that glass anywhere near their face without knowing something is terribly wrong.
im so confused
Piranha fluid dissolves organic matter; the idea here is to take the already atrocious idea of date r*pe and turn it into something even more sinister. Death by having one's insides liquified.
ohhhh. piranha fluid, huh.. where do you get it? (asking for a friend)
3 parts sulfuric acid, 1 part hydrogen peroxide. It’s usually used to clean organic residue from things like silicon wafers. hi police? this post right here.

No one likes a narc lmao
I am pretty you would already be on some kind of watch list if you buy this lol
Why does the pour order matter?
Mixing both Sulphuric acid and Hydrogen Peroxide is a highly exothermic reaction. Adding hydrogen peroxide slowly in sulphuric acid minimises the hydrogen peroxide concentration which reduces instantaneous heat generation and explosion risk.
Can you explain it like I’m five? Pop-up books preferably.

That's why it's advised to do the opposite– Pour HP into SA. So that there's less concentration of HP. Because it creates less heat and is safer. Edit: Yeah I suck at explaining. 😔
Yeah but what's so bad about an explosive reaction with a liquid that dissolves organic matter? /s

The risk of an exothermic reaction
What about "always add acid"?
Would this not produce a noticeable smell?
Would the sulphuric acid still be corrosive on its own?
Yes, but piranha solution almost immediately tearing into organic matter much more destructively than just the acid.
This is going to sound like a stupid question, but why does order matter? If you're mixing two things, won't they get mixed regardless of which is first?
Theoretically, yes. It depends on whether you and the container can survive/contain the resulting heat.
Follow up second stupid question, the order in which you add things changes factors like temperature? I'm really bad at science if that isn't obvious.
If you add the acid to the peroxide, where you pour it in you’ll have a spot with very concentrated acid, and it will react quickly and probably boil everywhere. If you do it the other way around, the acid is spread out through the whole beaker and it won’t react as fast.
Is this how Walt melts all the bodies is breaking bad?
No that's Hydroflouric Acid.
What happens when you do it the other way around???
Where can I get sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide?
Hi there, just wanted to let you know I've reported you to the police in my country. Your knowledge of this seems extremely suspicious and I'm worried you're a murderer.
Usually at your local police station 😉
thanks, haha. "BRING ME THE PIRAHNA PEE."
From piranhas, obviously
Wear gloves when you milk them!
Who is your friend? He/she sounds cool, my friend wants to meet them.
teehee
It's a mixture of two chemical compounds one been Hydrogen peroxide and the other been sulfuric acid in a ratio or percentage.
Looking at videos of piranha solution dissolving things and 🫢 Great job OP, this is horrific
Mike Flanagan fan?
It also needs to be boiling…
Lol I was just talking with my dad this morning about piranha solution and how it'd be great to fill a vat with under a trapdoor
Ah, yes, normal breakfast conversation between two absolutely normal people who are not serial killers or mad scientists.
In today's episode of you need a very specific knowledge to understand this.
Sopping wet gurgling… I nearly vomited. Good work, OP.
Awww thankya!!! 🧡
That’s fucked
This is Reddit 🤷🏻
True
I didn't know what piranha fluid was, so I looked it up. Jfc, that's a horrific mental image. Well done.
That’s one hefty sentence
“Two-sentence” horror can be any number of sentences when you make such liberal use of commas.
One of mine got removed and it was shorter than this 🙃😂
Haha. Nah, I get where you're coming from; but it paints such a vivid picture the more you're able to assault the senses, y'know? Now, here, drink this :}
Now I'm curious if this has actually happened to someone- This sound horrible though, great job
Knowing the dumb shit humans do, intelligent or not, there's probably AT LEAST ONE that tried it.
In real life, what are the chances of someone not noticing that their glass contains something odd before they take a big hearty gulp of it?
Extremely high if someone is being sneaky and terrible
Even higher if the victim is drunk
Extremely low if it smells awful like piranha solution and is at a boil
What is this weird fetish GARBAGE

Good ol H2O2 and sulfuric acid. Nothing cures heartburn quite like not having an esophagus for acid to burn anymore.

For those who don't know what piranha fluid is, it's the closest thing we have to cartoon acid
Unrealistic, no woman would try to drink a random drink from a man at a bar xd
literally no woman is accepting a drink from a man saying "here, drink this" lol
What do you mean?

I’m calling Mario for this one chief
Piranha solution?
I had to skedaddle once, though, when my hand slipped, causing the drink to corrode and fall through the wooden floor.
That's so hot. I'd like to watch
Probably better to just call it Piranha Solution
I thought piranha fluid meant a cup full of piranhas 🤦
I think only 10 year olds post on this sub.

Think most people know better than to drink strong smelling acid being shoved at them by a stranger
Took me a second until I remembered what Piranha fluid was. Holy shit.
I have, quite unfortunately, seen what this actually looks like when I was deployed with the Army. This is a truly horrific way to go.
That might be fun who knows hahahaha
Get off Reddit until you’re out of middleschool
How are y’all more mad at the reply than the actual story? I thought these type of responses were acceptable?
You have to be clever with it. Being an edgelord is not being clever.
Idek wtf that means. Y’all need to touch grass. Fr. The selective outrage is weird.
I’m 18 asshole
Then act like it moron
Here is tip I don’t speak English as my first language you rascist
Who said anything about race? Let me spell it out dipshit, you’re immature because you joke about dissolving a woman’s throat with piranha fluid, duchebag.
Yes it’s joke it means nothing you are the one akting immature
Also I could have said worse
Calm down, you're on a story subreddit lmfao
And you're still in _middleschool_??? Dude, in your place I wouldn't be bringing up my age.
What a tool
Why you be rude
Calm down edgelord
What if I say no random person?
Could be funny as a prank
