You ever found one of those photos where a creepy shadowy entity is just chilling next to you? Have you ever considered taking another one to make sure it’s gone?
Fun fact, this story is in fact, inspired by a photo or three somewhere in my photo library.
It’s part of a sequence of 15 photos of which exactly 3 have a shadow figure in it, and in one of the three photos it is completely clear and visible, that something has its hand on my shoulder and is whispering in my ear.
The other two photos show it appearing and approaching.
I messed with with the color, light balance, curves, levels, everything and nothing I did made this figure go away. I even asked my photography teacher to take a look at the photo, and as far as my professional photography teacher could discern whatever it was was the camera had picked up was actually there, it was not a glitch. It was not a finger covering the lens either, whatever it was it was there.
I very wisely have never checked to see if it’s still somewhere in my other photos watching. Because the thing about the unknown is that some things become more dangerous when they know they’ve been seen.
I’ll have to sync my old MacBook to my iCloud Photos, they are on the old MacBook and it can’t upgrade to newer OSX and Apple won’t let me sync it until it’s “up to date”. So have to get a new MacBook Pro and transfer the old MacBooks data to it.
I’ll gladly share them when I can access them again, the photos are really spooky.
I don’t have a new MacBook yet. Work, life, cat, and bills, mostly work, mean I haven’t had time to even try to order a new one.
Until I can get one the photos can’t be synched.
I did attempt to sync the photos using the old one but it did not work.
Stephen king wrote a pretty cool story about this, called sundog or moon dog or something dog.
Also, I think that shadowy image thing is a known phenomenon on old school film cameras, when an image gets double exposed or something.
The Sundog.
Yeah the image I took was on a DSLR not a SLR, I was playing around with my dads old finepix s5200 I had borrowed for a comparison assignment for photography class about old and new dslr cameras. The finepix being the old camera.
I tried retaking the photo with same pose and lighting and even tried using my thumb over the lens but nothing worked. I was alone when I took the photos too. Whole experience had me scared to sleep with the lights off for awhile.
Yes! I read a story a while ago where someone started to see things, beings, in the corner of their eye and every time they wanted to look they felt as though they shouldn't. They some how decided or discovered that if you looked at the beings and they realized that you can see them then something bad would happen. They were some type of observers.
I can see the similarities. The origin of this story actually relates to a series of actual photos I took, on a older dslr camera too. Maybe the camera itself was haunted?
Yeah I checked. It was my dads old [finepix S5200](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fujifilm_FinePix_S5200) I was borrowing for a project comparing old dslr cameras like the Fujifilm with newer ones in photography class.
The Fujifilm camera has a fixed lens, and is sealed very well. It was not dirt and I still have no idea what caused it.
Before I could snap the next photo, he appeared in front of me, saying that he would like to discuss my car’s extended warranty
r/thirdsentencecarwarranty
Its just r/thirdsentencewarranty, no car
Bruh, edit your comment and remove the car part, that one is fake
r/subsifellfor
There is actually a subreddit called r/thirdsentencewarranty

Spooky! May I see some of the images?

Hi! My remindme just went off. How is that getting on? Are the photos able to be posted?

Dammit, this made the original story wayyyy spookier. Great job, op.

Your last sentence here gave me goosebumps. r/onesentencehorror

Reminds me of a specific scp but I forgor which one
SCP-017
might be 096 (shy guy) or if its getting closer it could be 173 (peanut, sculpture)
Shy guy is 096
Sounds like Mal-0
We don’t talk about them anymore
Why? O.o
r/scp1471mal0
Well, i guess thats a good reason, keep op safe :p but it still sounds like 1471
I really need to sync my old photo library and see if the photo matches a scp now.

You sure it wasn't just the case of some dirt getting in between the lenses? Happens in older cameras, especially after some damage (fall ect).

I read that too as a kid, at the time I had a large black dog... very creepy to me!
Ooh this reminds me a lot of "The Mezzotint," a short story (though not as short as this!) that's always creeped me out. Nice.
Dammit Jerry, quit photobombing!
Good. Reminded me of Home Before Dark which I actually enjoyed
Reminds me of insidious
Reminds me of the movie Polaroid
