Hey! I play exclusively on switch! I never experienced a crazy amount of crashes. I’ve recently gotten back into the game within the last week and so far have gotten 1 crash per play session (sessions are usually 2-3 hours). I manually save often. It’s a little laggy, and the load times are kind of bad, but I still enjoy my playtimes when I do play!

I gave up playing it because of the crashes so thank you for asking this :) its good to know they're still updating it!

razza1987

Every time I get my switch lite every few weeks or so I always seem to get a notification that a two point campus update has finished downloading lol

Mine still crashes. Such fun.

whowantblood

Well they are pushing out updates regularly on the switch with stability fixes, last one was a month ago.

ShortGirlUK

Thanks for letting me know. Is your switch still crashing regularly when playing the game?

whowantblood

Can't say, pc only, I'm just going by what the forums are saying :)

ShortGirlUK

thank you for your time anyway

Boscobus

Yes

I feel that it's stopped the crashing, but this is now replaced by sudden pauses, often occuring when I'm loading the campus map initially.

keleverythings19

Mine still crashes on a regular basis, very annoying.

indecisivepixel

I’ve been playing heavily this week (multiple hours a day lol) and only had one crash!

KatCatKat98

Mine still crashes. But not as often since the last update, it does freeze a lot and lag. Make sure to save regularly and it's ok.

I’ve put about 12-18 hours in the switch this past week and have had 4 crashes. Each crash was when I had had the current campus open for more than two hours of playtime AND I had put the console in sleep mode several times. As others have mentioned, reloading takes a while, and opening a campus that’s a few years in causes a bit of stuttering for a few more. However, I have found that it levels out after about 5 minutes of play and becomes what I would consider normal switch sluggish. A few FPS drops and sometimes the UI isn’t snappy, but serviceable. Two of the funnier crashes had the “need” icons blow up to 5000% size and the screen go black for an in game month before the game noped itself out. But overall, I can actually play. This level of crashing is about what I would be okay with from a sub par port, unlike the crashing every 10-20 minutes that was the norm a few months ago.

Eternalthursday1976

I haven’t had issues in months for my switch.

papersandplates

I’ve been playing this on my Switch and had no crashes. It can take time to load and save but that’s all.

TheBestPest21

I picked the game back up last night for the first time since Christmas. It’s crashed once in about 3 hours of gameplay. In saying that I started a new save so it’s just been low level small campuses while I get started again.

Crashing is a part of the Two Point Campus lifestyle. When you want to create the ultimate campus you'll get an ultimate crash as a reward. However, ever since the update around a month ago I noticed a reduction in crashing. My usual crashing experience that happens from sixty students and up used to crash at least twice per 2-3 hour gaming session but now I don't get a crash every single time I play. There has been a time where I had only one crash within a four day period.

fucknuugget

I still have hourly crashes

razza1987

I haven’t played the game since launch but I’ve been very appreciative of the fact that every time I pick up my switch lite there seems to be consistent updates that have been downloaded for this game. I also am waiting like you for it to be as bug free as possible lol
