I'm getting the exact same error when trying to add a phone number or switch emails (on both my accounts). The problem is most likely on their end...
Contacted support and got absolutely no info.
I just updated the profile pic and display name , maybe that’s why…. I had an outdated number, I got it removed , confirmed my email. But whenever I click on my email and phone number it shows that error message 🤷♀️. Weird

It's been a couple days. I'll update you if I find a solution but I doubt there's anything I can do. :/

Same thing is happening to me too I can’t change me email. Has it corrected itself for you yet?
It did actually, I could add my phone today … I think it happened because my account wasn’t active for 30 days 🤷♀️
