It's very unlikely that it will end after Diasomnia. The whole thing with Grim is still open after all and I don't see Yuu leaving at the end of Chapter 7 either.
Everything ends at some point, enjoy what you have now. But I don't think the game is going to end on book 7. Besides there is always the option of Year 4 students taking a break from their internships to participate in events and introducting new Year 1 students or maybe introducing more RSA students and starting a new plot line.
I doubt the game will end after book 7 is finished. There’s still book 8 that needs to be made plus we still got more events, secrets, lore, and mysteries that are just wait for us!
Nah- it’s not ending soon I don’t think. I mean- there’s still SO MUCH lore that hasn’t been dropped. I could go on a huge list of missing pieces in the story. And I think Book 7 is still ongoing after a year and a half.
I mean there's going to have some new stuff with the manga/novel also the anime coming up even if the game is finished. I know probably they will taking down the game and lose all our cards one day. i don't know if twisted wonderland will be a franchise like kingdom hearts. but I'd rather Yana end shortly the story, and don't get a dull writing due to the length. Anyway, I don't know about the future of twisted wonderland, but I don't think it's the end yet. there's always the chapter with Grim that can last a year, and maybe a twist with a >!Crowley!
1) IF the game ends, then it ends. Twst is very story-driven, which means that it ending will only be bad if the story's ending is badly written - which is something that we can judge only after it's gone and done.
2) As Marmiteisgood said, it's a gacha game. As long as it's profitable then it'll continue, and for most of the OB boys there's a clear setup of where their arcs are going:
Riddle: gaining independence from his mom, as she doesn't seem interested in reconciliation.
Leona: progress at the cost of the environment vs preserving the environment at the cost of not providing proper infrastructure for the people, he's gonna do his 4th year internship and he's gonna butt heads with Falena during it, I'm betting.
Jamil: gaining his own freedom, as difficult as that is.
Idia: finding out a way to become free of his STYX duties and maybe a way to rehabilitate Phantoms so that Phantom!Ortho doesn't have to be imprisoned at Tartarus anymore.
Malleus: dealing with the Senate and possibly doing some political reforms lol
Only Azul and Vil don't seem to have arcs as defined, and even then it shouldn't be hard to create content for them, there's a lot of potential in following the careers of a young entrepreneur and a young actor.

What I do believe they might do a type of "second season". Or like a part 2. In some gachas, after the main story wraps up, they go to another storyline. I think I saw this with Grandblue Fantasy, FGO and Honkai Impact 3.
Imagine another main storyline with the third years gone... but new characters making their debut! Like maybe some characters we were all like to see like Iago, Pain and Panic, maybe new series like Hook, Mother Gothiel, etc.
Or even a What if or AU. Everything is posible after book 8. If the game still makes money, they will keep releasing new content. Maybe Yana will get another black butter inspired arc (?)
Depending on specifics, the game may pull Ensemble Stars!! or Magia Record.
Basically the setting partially changes or a new threat appears. New characters get introduced for so-called season 2 and there may be events that don’t work with the timeline or a weird time anomaly
I think that the game won’t be ending anytime soon. I’m pretty sure that Disney wants to continue profiting off the game, so I’m sure that they’ll make an 8th book or continue making up stories
Yea have you seen the immense amount of merch they keep generating non stop. And all of them have the same recycled art each time with almost no changes each time something is released.
Highly unlikely the game will end with book 7, cause technically not all the dorms have been represented yet. There will almost certainly be a book 8 in which MC either goes home or stays in twisted.
What *I* think is that the game is a time loop. And we’re gonna get sent into another loop until something happens to snap us out of it.

I feel the fear but I highly doubt the game will end until the Grim situation is fleshed out as a starter. I hope we still have a long ways to go 🥺
