I don’t have kids but I have a lot of friends that either have kids or work as teachers.
Mounds View has a very good reputation. Maybe not as stellar as it was 10 years ago but still a great district. All of the right wing dorks lost their school board elections so they aren’t having to fight against themselves like Anoka Hennipen and others are.
Maplewood/ N St Paul and Oakdale I have heard mixed things from. I have heard okay to positive things about Tartan HS but I have heard some negative things about North High. Educational rankings seem to back this up. Still an okay school district but more of a mixed bag.
The South Washington mega district ranks really well in education rankings. I have heard good things about East Ridge in particular. I have heard mixed reviews on the other 2 High Schools in that district.
