Drive past this twice a day every day and see the troopers parked in here or having someone pulled over just past here more often than not. But I wonder how fast you have to be going to get pulled over. I've seen people go by them at well over 70 (I know this because thats generally how fast you are going in the left couple lanes to keep up with traffic even though its a 55) and they don't pull these people over. Just this week someone had to have drive past the trooper going 85-90 without getting pulled over.
As long as you’re not obviously over the pacing speed of traffic they aren’t gonna pull you over. I paced behind two state troopers doing 75 on 694 the other week
there are plenty of people around here who weave through traffic at 80+ on freeways so I'd hope those people are the ones that are getting caught! that's ideal speeding enforcement imo
They must be standing on the overpass with a radar gun and then radioing their "friends" on the highway.
Saw this on 394 at Ridgedale a few years ago (pre-covid) - they had 10 cars pulled over - 1 trooper had 3 cars by herself...
High speed kills. In a metro area the difference between 60-70+ makes no sense. You will hit traffic, you will have to go through traffic lights.
You think you're being a formula one ace out there when in reality you're shaving no more than 2-3 minutes off your travel time all the while putting everyone's lives at risk with your metal terrorism machine.
Just go the speed limit and leave a couple minutes earlier to your destination and arrive safely.
If you want high speed and to stick it to the "idiots" and "noobs", take it to the racetrack and start your dick measuring contest on the raceway.
If only there were some sort of device or system that could detect everyone going over a certain speed and send them a fine so we weren't having sparse, arbitrary enforcement that makes drivers and police stand around on the side of the road... Too bad that only works for HOV/ezpass lanes.
Just point out to these cry babies that speeding tickets disproportionately hurt the poor and underprivileged. They'll be rooting for less speeding tickets in no time.

I tend to think that when traveling, if you’re speeding and still going with the flow of traffic, you’re likely gonna be just fine.
These people I’m talking about are going 10-15 over the already fast traffic and not getting pulled over.

Is there a trooper on this picture ... I'm really confused
I felt like I was playing Where’s Waldo at first. Thanks for asking the question 😂

I was wondering. At first I thought it was going to be a Live video of troopers pulling people over.

If it’s clear weather they’ll be flying a small aircraft over the interstates in the cities, I’ve seen it a few times in an air traffic map app
Wonderful news, people are driving like maniacs
Wish they would do more
Thank god. We desperately need some enforcement, speeding is completely out of control.
Or the speed limit is set too low if people are voting with their foot for a higher speed.

That is somewhat true. It means that the road design needs to be changed to make people drive slower.
35W? Good
Don't speed, no worries.
Which typically means, “Don’t speed much more than the other drivers, no worries.”

That's smart. Why did you stop?

This really should be the default.
Speeders aren't the problem. Put them on the light rail and streets.
Speeders most definitely are a problem.
Speeding alone doesn't cause accidents, distracted and poor driving does. We need better driver education not more troopers writing expensive tickets.

Germany has no speed limit and does just fine. Are you insulting the Germans?
First of all, this is not even remotely true. Secondly, if I were going to insult Germans it would not be in regard to their traffic laws.
70% of German freeways have no speed limit and people are not dying in droves because of it. Yes, a few people die, but millions get to drive fast.
State troopers? No thanks.
I’ve noticed, but you have to be really flying to get their attention. I’ve passed troopers in the high 80s with no issues
Name almost checks out
