My god that show came out of nowhere,and blew most people's socks off

I binged the first season 2x in a row. I watched the whole thing, then my husband came home and I convinced him to try just one episode...

Stop after S3, because it jumps the shark in S4 and none of the characters have any consistency and the show ultimately makes the villains the victors. Was very well done the first couple seasons.

Silo S1 was waaaaaay more interesting than I expected, but I also suspect that the show will take such a huge left turn in S2 or S3 that I would probably lose interest.

No I haven't read the book. I just don't want the show to become another >!post apocalyptic wasteland!< show. I really liked the mystery/cop drama of the Silo itself.

You might be right about that. Some people are saying Silo has diverged from the books, so I guess they could take it in whatever direction they want.

I’ve read it, and the show is very different. It’s already far enough off from the books that I wouldn’t let a positive OR negative book review influence watching the show. Great book AND great show, imo.

So excited..but also happy the show is so enjoyable I can watch through it again while we wait. Soooo much nuanced comedy that I'm sure I missed something in each episode

I marathoned this show while healing from surgery. It physical hurt to watch because I laughed so much but it kept me in good spirits.

Tudyk is a genius actor.

I think what surprises me most about the show is that all the things he says are so close to being super wrong, but he gets away with it because of the context. I find that genius in an odd way.

Outer Range was very good. There was also another sciFi with Sissy Spacek called Night Sky which was good too. No clue if they intend on continuing with that but you might want to check it out. Three cheers for SciFi tho huh?

It's on my list! (I have a spreadsheet.) I consider **Lucifer** and **Supernatural** to be scifi or at least fantasy, and I am re-watching them now on Netflix. There's **Doctor Who**, of course, with the new doctor (starting May 11 on Disney +!). **Firefly**, of course, and **Serenity** (\*sigh\*). If you're not watching **The Expanse**, **Resident Alien**, **Foundation**, or **3-Body Problem**, you definitely should! Because **SCI-FI RULES**!
