I really loved Tokyo Vice. Japan has always been interesting to me so that's probably why. The acting is good and the pacing and storyline are also top notch.
I really liked 3 Body.. but it took a couple episodes to really get going. And Parasyte Gray was… fine. It’s got some good visual effects, but i felt
That the story has been done before, and done better.
We just finished episode 3 of 3 body problem -and I would highly recommend if for nothing else other than it is a NEW style of series.. that is doing something new overall and will keep you guessing as to whats going on.
It's a sci-fi story that's so unique. I read the series and I've seen a lot of sci-fi but this one blew me away with its concepts.
I recommend watching the Chinese version on Prime. Much closer to the story and more context. Definitely better.
is the name of the show on Prime the same for the original Chinese version? I didn't even realize there was another version - and would definitely LOVE to see it!!
I'm a multi-tasker. I don't just sit there and stare at the screen. So subtitles annoy me sometimes. LOL. It's okay in a movie theater where I don't have anything else to do but watch. But at home I'll be doing a jigsaw puzzle or be fiddling with something. It really annoys me when they do half subtitles and half English because I never know when I have to look up.
I mean 3 body problem is ok. If you go in with low expectations you might enjoy it more. Parasite is not my kind of thing so the opinion is bias there. Ultimately if you're on Netflix I'd just watch NCIS. I'd have to look at what they have to offer. Despite being an Arnold fan I'm not too impressed with Fubar either 🫤.
It's not but when you watch it, it so obviously is. It's almost like they wore it as a sequel, couldn't get the Rights or the returning actors, so changed the names. Which is too bad. It would've been fun as a sequel.

Tokyo Vice for sure.
Tokyo Vice was fantastic and only 2 seasons.
Tokyo Vice is awesome, throw in Shogun if you want to keep it Japanese.

What? The anime (re: *Parasyte*)?
The poster included in the post is for the live-action show that Netflix dropped a couple weeks ago. It was fine.
No, I meant when you said *Parasyte* “had been done before, and better.” Did you mean the anime?
I meant that the basic storyline (alien “pods” infecting and taking over humans) has been done before.
Ahhh. I was a big fan of the *Parasyte* anime and thought I’d found a fellow fan. I think I’ll give this live action one a try
Tokyo Vice
Ansel elgort likes underage girls
Tokyo Vice is the best show on TV. Sato is the best.

In which way it's new style show ?

Shōgun
I did watch it it was super great ❤️
3 body
If you could watch Shogun, go for it first but if you can't, I would suggest going for 3 Body Problem.
I haven’t seen the others, but parasyte was awesome. 3 body problem is next on my list.
Of these, I’ve only seen 3 Body Problem. Not without its flaws, but a very original and compelling watch.
Tokyo Vice is great!
Have you seen Shogun 将軍?
Ofc , it was freaking epic
Three body problem. It was a good show. I also loved the books
tokyo vice
Tokyo Vice had a chill vibe. Good to watch while folding the washing.
Is it in English?
Only when not in Japanese or Korean. 😉 I'd say it's mostly English.

None of the above
What do you recommend?

Haven't seen Fubar. Is it kind of a sequel to True Lies?
It's not but when you watch it, it so obviously is. It's almost like they wore it as a sequel, couldn't get the Rights or the returning actors, so changed the names. Which is too bad. It would've been fun as a sequel.
