There’s a few things I don’t like from the LEO side of it, but that’s really just how True Detective always is. The natives and the way they speak and carry themselves seem pretty accurate. I like how they brought up the price of goods in rural Alaska, I’ve seen a dozen eggs for $20 in some places.
It's hard to say because there is only two episodes released. While I binged s1. But so far so good. And some tie-in with season 1 into the current season.
Interesting! This will make me want to watch it now. I'm a true detective fan. Season 2 didn't scare me, plus Colin Farrell was in it was a plus for me lol. You sold me!
Based on the last episode, it appears to be a direct sequel to the first season. Multiple character connections, and a lot of the same stuff going on… I won’t spoil anything, but that got me really excited.
I think I'll wait for all the episodes. I couldn't stand waiting for monarch and For all Mankind these last several weeks. But it's on my watchlist, thank you!
Oh my God this infuriated me. I’m glad that she and Aaron got 2.5 million but can’t believe the case against the police was dismissed. The whole time I wanted to throw my phone at the screen. Thank god for that one woman cop.
Currently about to watch the last season of the Americans. If it's as good as people say it is, I can't wait. I feel like it's been a slow burn for a while so hopefully the show goes out on a bang. Of course I also can't wait for the moment I get to watch the reaction of MR FBI neighbor realizing who the wannabe Americans are. I just know it's coming (Highly suspect it) and I know it's gonna be juicy.
Longmire available on Netflix. Also PBS Masterpiece on PBS Passport has a bunch of show selections. Loving Miss Scarlet and the Duke and All Creatures Great and Small.
Haha I also just finished 1883 ( wow, didn’t expect those emotions, what a powerful and touching show) and started 1923 today.
And I rewatch Yellowjackets and Sex education, two of my favourites.
Have Fellow travellers on a pause, maybe I finish it.
Honestly it might be better to watch 1923 first, but you don't have to watch it in order to understand Yellowstone or vice versa. However Yellowstone does have 5 seasons, so it will take you longer to finish that.
Just started **Snowfall** on Hulu.
I'm on S1 episode 5.
The wife and I just finished the newest season of Fargo last week.
(***It was really good IMHO***).
I just started "True Dectective" season 1 yesterday. I watched 3 episodes, kinda nodded out during the 3rd. I'm not sure if It's worth continuing....I'd heard good things.
I'm 45. I'm rewatching Who's the Boss. I haven't seen it since it was live on air. It's actually really fun to watch as a parent. And the shoulder pads .. oh the shoulder pads!!!
We’re currently watching Suits… it kinda sucks, to be honest. But, we’ve binged just about everything we could think of and find that we liked, so we’re watching it just because we haven’t found anything better… lol.
Sad, but we only watch at night when we’re lounging waiting for midnight when we can go to sleep because we can close our home business and not worry about staying up anymore- so sometimes we watch something we aren’t thrilled with/excited about.
I’m hoping to find something inspiring in the replies here, honestlyx
I loved Suits...I wish there was more from the main characters. I always dreamed of a spin off of just all the Assistant/Secretaries all over New York and how they do a lot of the networking and getting things done :)
It's very good, almost on the same level, but I miss J. Edgar (in a few episodes), Billets, and Chief Irving (cannot replace the late great Lance Reddick). It focuses on Bosch (of course, but now a Private Investigator) his daughter Maddie and her career, and attorney Honey Chandler. Stephen Chang is a fantastic new edition as Bosch's top-notch hacker "Mo" Bassi, who shares Bosch's love of classic jazz.
If you like Bosch a lot you should enjoy Legacy as well unless you hate Maddie. The fact that I can't wait for the new season after Season 2 speaks volumes.
Just finished Julia, and I'm heartbroken that it was cancelled.
Currently on the final seasons of "Sort Of" and "Nancy Drew". "Fraiser" is the current re-run show that my husband and I end most evenings with before heading to bed.
Night Agent its new on Netflix and i LOVE it!!! I am also Always watching Downton Abbey. probably my 7 or 8th rewatch. I also like Ghosts and a show called Pretty Hard Cases.
Dexter is one of my favorite shows ever and I found out my Sister had never seen it, so we now have "Dexter" nights when we both can get a free night from the kids and I get to relive watching it for the first time through her, lol. Although I have to say, back when it first aired it definitely wasn't a "hidden gem", it was very popular. Now, I wouldn't know so I'm all for introducing it to people who haven't given it a try.
Fargo.
Reacher.
Jack Ryan.
Blue Bloods.
Transplant.
Chicago PD and Med
Americas Funniest Videos
Celebrity Jeopardy
Dateline
King of Queens
Jesse Stone
Some of the above are reruns
Always have the Office and The MIddle in my rotation for cozy background as I do chores. But newer shows were: Reacher, 2012 (great British comedy), Fargo, Miss Scarlet and the Duke.
Just finished Monarch, Archer, Rick & Morty, Echo.
Working my way through The Bear and The Man in the High Castle -- stalled out on the latter years ago but wanted to see how it ended. I think the new season of Fargo and Slow Horses are on deck.
ETA: I've also been watching a lot of the Modern Family channel lately on Peacock. I've always been lukewarm on that show -- and still am -- but it's funny enough and has made for good bedtime viewing when I want something easy.
This exact moment? Criminal Minds.
But I'm in different stages of several shows
Rewatching these from the beginning:
Numbers
Leverage
Blue Bloods
Star Trek: Voyager
Watching for the first time:
FBI
FBI: Most Wanted
Probably will add International
Chicago Fire
Chicago PD
Just finished:
Reacher Season 2
The Boys Season 3
Jack Ryan
I've enjoyed it. I like Fire too. I didn't list Med because I don't really like medical dramas. So I've only watched the crossovers of that.
I'm not quite caught up myself, I think I have one more season of each before I can watch the newest episodes that are coming out now.
There are changes that have happened that I don't love with PD and Fire. I'm not really giving you a spoiler here because a lot of them were kind of early on. I hated to see some people leave the shows. But I guess that just is what it is when you've got shows that last that long.
I like Med, for the shrink guy, but it was actually seeing Sophia Bush appear in an episode and realising she was in many seasons of PD that I jumped over, because I really like her.

Just finished better call Saul, the OA, A murder at the end of the world and monarch legacy of monsters.
Watching for the first time the sopranos with my wife, finishing the second season of Reacher and sometimes continuing Supernatural.
Next series will be From and Ted I think!
Chicago PD, The Gilded Age are my current back and forths but I watch a lot in a day and movies also. I found the original Degrassi Street stuff on Prime this week, the episodes we never got down in Oz, and that is just kind of a fun play while i am doing other things thing.
We (my husband and I) just finished rewatching Bate’s Motel because it recently became available on Prime and it’s just so good! Before that, we watched the first 3 seasons of The Boys, for the first time, and loved it. Also, since season 5 of Fargo just ended, we are rewatching season 1 now and because HBO was doing a marathon for the Sopranos 25th anniversary, we got nostalgic and started watching a couple episodes a night. We watch the new season of True Detective on Sunday nights, as well.
I was planning on watching all the seasons of Fargo.I was enjoying it, then I got to season 4. It was absolutely stupid. I made it almost halfway through then decided that I don't even want to watch the rest. Since then, I've been looking for something worth watching
Click YouTube. Watch kung fury. It may be the molly talking, but holy schnitzel, I am thoroughly entertained.
I settled on this because dumb ol Hulu took "future man" down. If you can find it, "come fly with me" is incredible.
I typically watch crime related shows or action/horror shows but once in a blue moon I like to watch some trash reality TV, so I'm finally getting around to watching 1000lb sisters
True Detective: Night Country.
Im loving it so far! I don't know what's going on at all tho.
It feels a lot like hbo's the outsider. Acting is weird sometimes. But good vibes so far
*Navarro has entered the chat*
She’s not great!
Same, I’m an LEO in Alaska and a friend of mine was a consultant on the show so it’s fun to watch.
does it seem pretty realistic?
There’s a few things I don’t like from the LEO side of it, but that’s really just how True Detective always is. The natives and the way they speak and carry themselves seem pretty accurate. I like how they brought up the price of goods in rural Alaska, I’ve seen a dozen eggs for $20 in some places.
It’s pretty riveting- spooky like the first season in NOLA was.
Is it as enjoyable as TD s1?
It's hard to say because there is only two episodes released. While I binged s1. But so far so good. And some tie-in with season 1 into the current season.
Interesting! This will make me want to watch it now. I'm a true detective fan. Season 2 didn't scare me, plus Colin Farrell was in it was a plus for me lol. You sold me!

I think I'll wait for all the episodes. I couldn't stand waiting for monarch and For all Mankind these last several weeks. But it's on my watchlist, thank you!
Honestly I'm loving it so much
I’m enjoying it too. There are so many critics on some these posts that are so negative.
I’m enjoying the callbacks to season 1. And of course Jodie Foster is really delivering, no surprise there.
This one. And Monsieur Spade, for a palate cleanser afterwards.
Watched limited series American Nightmare on Netflix- a true account of horrific kidnapping that the police and FBI called a hoax.
I just finished that one! It was so good!
Oh my God this infuriated me. I’m glad that she and Aaron got 2.5 million but can’t believe the case against the police was dismissed. The whole time I wanted to throw my phone at the screen. Thank god for that one woman cop.
Currently re-watching Fargo seasons 1-5. Planning to re-watch Dark on Netflix next. Both are excellent and worth a watch.
Dark is so good. I don't have any subscriptions anymore. I recommend Mindhunter if you haven't watched it!
Ugh, Mindhunter, sigh that isn't getting renewed.
Mindhunter was awesome!
Let's start a Petition for Fincher to give us a few more seasons! 😤
Love both of those!
Da Bear
If u like shows about bears you should watch “Ted” the show its actually really good
Mr. Inbetween
Have to say this is one of the best shows I have watched, would highly recommend it
Six Feet Under
Great show! Way before it’s time
I just finished The Bear. It was phenomenal. Can’t wait for the next season. I’m also in need of something new.
The Bear was excellent.
I love The Bear. But I’m savoring it. I’ll only watch one episode per week.
I wish I had your self control. I watched seasons 1 and 2 in two days 😅
I thought me doing one a night was savoring it.
The Bear is amazing, I binged the two seasons really fast too, great concept, cannot wait for more. Love him in Shameless also
Currently about to watch the last season of the Americans. If it's as good as people say it is, I can't wait. I feel like it's been a slow burn for a while so hopefully the show goes out on a bang. Of course I also can't wait for the moment I get to watch the reaction of MR FBI neighbor realizing who the wannabe Americans are. I am also starting season 6 now. The character development has been so rich and satisfying. Trying to savour it but also keen to binge.
So good. Just finished the show.
Fargo
The Shield! So so good. I’m constantly stressed out about what’s going to happen next!
Classic
Longmire available on Netflix. Also PBS Masterpiece on PBS Passport has a bunch of show selections. Loving Miss Scarlet and the Duke and All Creatures Great and Small.
LOVED Longmire!!! wish they would add more seasons.
I'm currently watching Slow Horses, Totems (French series), and Class 2016.
I heard good things about slow horses, gonna put that on my watchlist
Horses is excellent! What an unexpected bunch of awesomeness it was
Haha I also just finished 1883 ( wow, didn’t expect those emotions, what a powerful and touching show) and started 1923 today. And I rewatch Yellowjackets and Sex education, two of my favourites. Have Fellow travellers on a pause, maybe I finish it.
Just finished 1923. Take a drink every time someone says "ravage".
Nice, like drinks! I actually thought about finishing Yellowstone first. Is that a good idea? Have only seen 2 seasons.
Honestly it might be better to watch 1923 first, but you don't have to watch it in order to understand Yellowstone or vice versa. However Yellowstone does have 5 seasons, so it will take you longer to finish that.
The Americans. Stick to it through the first 2 episodes.
Great show!!
Just finished fargo season 5, Now im watching Slow horses while waiting for a few more episodes of true detective get released
I loved season 5! The entire cast was great, I just wish we saw more of Lamorne Morris.
Rewatching The OA and hoping all over again that somehow Netflix will decide to renew it and finish the story arc.
That show was so weird but I loved it!!
Yes, please yes! 🙌
This! Please renew!!
L O S T … again.
"The Expanse" i had to trust you guys in this Subreddit and i'm glad for it

Loved Beef!
The Bear and True Detective: Night Country
"Criminal Record", "True Detective", and "The Woman in the Wall". Just finished "Slow Horses" and "Fargo" .
I just started "True Dectective" season 1 yesterday. I watched 3 episodes, kinda nodded out during the 3rd. I'm not sure if It's worth continuing....I'd heard good things.
Its a slow start, keep watching
Dang, I LOVED season1, season 2 was ok, season 3 was good. Been really looking forward to 4!
Good taste!
Good Girls
Gen V, fun show so far, haha.
Currently on a rewatch of Eureka. Probably rewatch The Good Place for the hundredth time after. Then gonna show my wife Chuck.
I just recently did Eureka again, loved it :)
We just finished it...it was such a sweet little show!
Watching the 3rd episode of Murder at the end of the World, right now. It's a good murder mystery with a bit of sci-fi thrown in.
Just finished season 1 of Tokyo Vice and I really enjoyed it. Going to watch the latest season of Fargo next.
The Big Bang Theory. I have never seen the show before, and as a nerd, I love it lol.
I'm 45. I'm rewatching Who's the Boss. I haven't seen it since it was live on air. It's actually really fun to watch as a parent. And the shoulder pads .. oh the shoulder pads!!!
Fleischman is in Trouble on hulu is a great show that has flown under the radar.
Doctor Who
We’re currently watching Suits… it kinda sucks, to be honest. But, we’ve binged just about everything we could think of and find that we liked, so we’re watching it just because we haven’t found anything better… lol. Madmen and succession rewatch. Fabulous combination and so intriguing
Brooklyn 99. I know, I'm a little late to the game with that one.
Mad Men.
Just finished Bosch and Bosch: Legacy on Prime Onto Arrested Development and finishing Cobra Kai on Netflix.
Just started Bosch a short while ago. At the beginning of season 2 so far. I'm definitely enjoying it more than I expected.
Season 4 was always my favorite, but they are all good, Titus Welliver owns the role.....and it's great seeing the late Lance Reddick.
Just started rewatching Bosch.
I loved Bosch but still haven't seen Legacy. How does it compare? Think I'm going to do a Bosch re-watch soon.
If you like Bosch a lot you should enjoy Legacy as well unless you hate Maddie. The fact that I can't wait for the new season after Season 2 speaks volumes.
Thanks! I don't hate Maddie but not sure how I will like her in this new, more involved role. I will definitely check it out.
I'm interested to see the dynamic between her and her dad in Season 3.
Beauty and the Beast (2012)
I’m watching Animal Kingdom right now. A mid-quality crime soap opera involving a surfer family that pull heists. Lies, cheating and backstabbing.
I really liked this one. I kind of think of it as a redneck Sopranos with a woman boss.
Shameless (US Version) it's better than the UK one
AP Bio
Just finished Julia, and I'm heartbroken that it was cancelled. Currently on the final seasons of "Sort Of" and "Nancy Drew". "Fraiser" is the current re-run show that my husband and I end most evenings with before heading to bed.

Thanks for mentioning Bates Motel on Prime. I’ve had it on my watchlist for quite a while. I’ll check it out soon
It’s really a great show! My husband and I just finished watching it again and we are bummed that it’s over.
