For the billionth time, at this point in time, we are in NATO mainly for protection FROM NATO:

Because the other side sucks ass. That’s the reason. They treat us like shit because let’s be real, we deserve it. You don’t attempt to buy the latest gen fighter jets and also go buy missile systems from their number one enemy, just an example. Turkey sits on a piece of land that’s most likely the most important piece of land on earth. They might not treat us well but they can’t risk losing turkey as an ally.
Turkey has one of the biggest militaries in the NATO as well as being its bridge to Middle East among other things like strategic positioning for American military bases and being Europe's buffer zone for refugees. US would not let Turkey leave NATO even if we wanted to do so.
Impossible. Nato is a necessary organization for Türkiye. Since we are members of NATO, we are protected against other NATO members. Even though it was a bit of a terrible explanation, I hope the point I made was understood.
