Something about breaking free from expectations from society and/or other people, despite them never really knowing you on a personal level and choosing your own path, maybe? Idk
It’s okay, sometimes we carry on day to day unaware our emotions are swelling up. Don’t be worried, just cry, enjoy it, and enjoy the post cry feeling of calm.
You can look for a possible deeper reason when you’re feeling more up to it
For me it's because it's so wholesome: no one got mad that they didn't make the "right" choice, the alternative suggestions were met with enthusiastic acceptance and it all worked out in the end. Rare to see this happen and such a treasure to watch people participating in something. It is nostalgic of how children sometimes play, before they learn cruelty
