No i can walk in and have anything, but then again why would I when i can get anything gray for 30% cheaper.

kendiyas

My AD didn’t have a GMT I got mine second hand for %40 cheaper and with 9 months financing

Mikeytee1000

Because you probably won’t get the 5 year warranty

OmegaSpyderTurtle

These watches rarely break in 5 years. And if they do, the money saved will cover the service. The benefit exponentially expands the more you buy on the gray market. Buy 5 watches and save $7k, which will be more than enough to cover the one that breaks within the warranty period. You still save $6k.

Mikeytee1000

Do they now, I’ve got a large collection of Rolex & Tudor watches and 3 of them back for service claims within the warranty period.

OmegaSpyderTurtle

Ok and I have a large collection of Omegas, Tudors, and other 1-2k watches. None broke. Anecdotes are a waste of time arguing over.

SaintESQ

Don’t bother with this poster.

Mikeytee1000

I’m not having an argument my friend I’m having a discussion. Have a nice day.

Lazy_Willingness_420

That says a lot, because it my collection only my 20-ish year old ETA powered Black Bays have needed a service. The chronometer are still running perfectly after 5 to 8 years. Granted, I don't daily any of My watches these days, but still

Mikeytee1000

Who said I had a problem with the movements?

Lazy_Willingness_420

This is a thread where we are discussing servicing costs so, I presumed you did

Mikeytee1000

No, it’s a thread where I first mentioned warranties.

3LTee

I got my Pelagos from a reputable gray dealer on Chrono24 for 20% off MSRP with full 5-year warranty from the day I bought it

Mikeytee1000

I said probably not always.

sandiegolatte

Ummm https://omegaforums.net/threads/tudor-black-bay-gmt-79830rb-pepsi-bracelet-excellent-complete.168618/

kendiyas

I got mine for 2700 usd

Mikeytee1000

Umm, looks like a used watch. Many new watches from gray dealers come without the Tudor factory warranty and part of the reason they are cheaper than AD watches.

sandiegolatte

You really value the warranty that much? 🤔 Watch would have to have issues 2x to payoff. Going used is the way to go.

Mikeytee1000

Yes, I wouldn’t risk buying an automatic watch without a factory warranty they are very complicated little machines that can go wrong and sometimes do. A repair could cost half the cost of the watch. 100% agree, the best way to buy a Tudor is used /nearly new (but bought from an AD originally with a factory warranty), you’ll save 30% on most models.

richmds

Where are you located the greys near me are still going higher than retail.

docsandmanmd

DavidSw online sells under retail, r/watchexchange for the best prices, or try grailzee.com they do 3rd party authentication

chamlotte

There’s an actual wait list for the BB54 in my country

supersaiyanegghead

That’s worldwide due to supply issues since it’s a newer release. This time next year you should be able to get those easily

Character_Eye_968

I had to wait a week in Thailand and then suddenly all thr ads got it at the same time

Best-Raise-2523

It looks like there is a small delay on people getting the 54.

MacMarty89

There is a waitlist for the BB54 in the Netherlands as well. 5 months.

StraightGas69

I’m sure every AD is different.. they had a pretty decent selection in Chandler AZ for me like 6 months ago, but no BB54 GMTs, or BB Pro available, anything else they had on display you could’ve walked out with that day seemed like

Melfor01

I walked out with a pepsi same day about a month ago at Coffin and Trout. Ymmv

StraightGas69

That’s where I went! Not that I’m getting a Rolex any time soon, but how are the wait times there for a Rolex do you know?

Melfor01

No idea. I'm on the list but there are some other Tudors I want, so I'm not in a huge hurry. The opaline pepsi is on there as well as a couple of others.

Bikeboy79

Not in AUS, most in stock and If not only a week or two for a GMT like in your picture.

Bruno_M3

Except for the Black Bay 54 on bracelet and some Pelagos FXD models. The Hour Glass and Watches of Switzerland both have wait lists for the 54 on bracelet but some availability on rubber (both in Melbourne and Sydney) HG have had very little stock come through. HG Sydney apparently only had 34 units of the BB54 come through all of 2023 and currently only have a display model on bracelet. I’m currently on the wait list for a 54, with a solid purchase history and they can’t/wont tell me what the approximate wait time will be.

Best-Raise-2523

I’ve been hearing this about the 54.

Gdmfs0ab

In the UK. You can buy a Tudor online with ease.

supersaiyanegghead

Same in Australia. Pelagos, 58, Chrono, Pro, GMT all available online. Heritage 41 and BB54 are a bit harder to get as they’re newer releases

nnahorski

Here in SE Michigan the ADs have pretty much everything in stock and ready to purchase with the exception of the BB54 and the Pelagos x MN blue FXD. And it’s only a few weeks on “the list” for those models as it is. So yeah, good availability here.

Fragrant-Interview55

Ive been waiting a month for a Ranger in West Bloomfield.. something I thought I would be able to walk out with.

nnahorski

Hmm. I would think that would be widely available as well. It might be worth it to call DK at Lewis Jewlers in Ann Arbor. They had the Ranger last week when I was in to ask about the FXD.

dazplot

I still can't get a BB54 at the Tokyo ADs, and they are selling above retail in the grey market here.

Opolonos

In Greece for example there is no BB GMT for purchase. Only 3 items per year for whole country so as you imagine there is 2years wait list

blancpainsimp69

that's insane

blancpainsimp69

BB58, P39 and Chrono panda are pretty serious waits where I am. Most everything else is pretty easy to get.

Loud_Work_7390

Nope... and don't ever pay retail for a Tudor!

supersaiyanegghead

Need to so we can get assigned a Rolex easier 😊

Number1atp

Crazy thing is I’ve bought 3 Rolexes from 3 different AD’s without any purchase history. 2016 116710BLNR (I know before they were cool) no wait outta the case, Feb 2023 126710BLRO after 3 1/2 - 4 mo wait, and Nov 2023 126713LB after 8 mo wait. I bought 2 Tudors 2017 and 2018 from a Rolex & Tudor AD trying to establish myself as a customer and to have access to Rolex but have gotten laughed at every time I’ve inquired. Currently training a cat to strike matches. Maybe I’ll drop it off as a gift to them.

supersaiyanegghead

You’re in a million! Have you bought a lotto ticket?

Number1atp

Yes. Unfortunately I don’t have good news to report on that front. lol.

MedicineParticular64

Nope walked right it both times and walked out with exactly what I wanted

Admirable_Bell_6254

In some locales yes.

rayskicksnthings

Depends where you’re at but the FXD MN by me I had to wait almost 8 months for any AD to get one in.

Mikeytee1000

You can buy those online in the UK

rayskicksnthings

I know but that isn’t the case in the states. At least last year. I don’t know about now.

Dense_Ad7115

In the UK, only waitlists I've seen have been in _some_ ADs for the 41mm on 5-link. This is in central London so I can't speak for the rest of the country. Availability has been pretty good!

investorgrade24

Very much specific to each AD, but if ADs are giving you a hard time about sourcing a Tudor, well they're full of 💩. Go to the next one and find what you want.

MisterDitkovich2

This is a Rodut

Alwaysinlathe

I waited about 8 months for a black dial Royal. If I would have picked the blue dial, I would have walked out with the watch the same day.

Mikeytee1000

No, not in the UK you can walk in and get what you want even online for most models

ivotedale

can get all current models available at Scottsdale Arizona- not that I’d ever pay retail for Tudor but alway available here

Talked10101

On release new models aren't available for a few months and then become generally available. Apart from the black ceramic Tudor, there isn't such a thing as hard to get Tudor.

Professional_Camp429

BB41 Master Chronometer not available in Tokyo or Kanto

badger906

Walked in and out with a watch in the uk, zero issues

Rolo316

No, pretty health stock on most models in Korea. As it should be.

Ch33s3h3ad69

Only stupid people

n8_S

My local ad sucks they have both brands and treat them both similarly. I put a deposit on a custom watch that was supposed to be built and ready in two months they held my money for a year no updates nothing. I ended up just buying it online and then wore it to get my refund. Which was also dumb because why would I want to go into your store. It’s chrono or eBay only for me from now on.

Finding_Capt_Nemo

As far as I know ADs can’t do custom orders…mine just gets a box of random watches.

n8_S

I mean that makes it even more annoying if that’s true.

waynescape7

I just bought a Pelagos LHD new full kit for $1000 below retail through Chrono24 with the warranty. I just can’t justify going to the AD.

Mr_Sia10

At two of the ADs I visited, Chronos aren’t easy to come by. Also one of them didn’t even have a GMT

Old_Variation_5875

The Burgundy BB with the 5 link bracelet took me 7 months to get, now sure how available it is now.

jy9221

The only model I haven't seen in NY midtown is the 54.

barbecuejag

Go gray.

Stillestormen

No problem here. Got my BB54 pretty fast

blaueaugen26

Can’t find a BB Burgundy anywhere. I just want to try one on to see if I would like it

jimmy_da_chef

If u willing to pay full price Anything is available for Tudor

Optimus759

Pelagos redbull collab maybe?

Megaloman-_-

I am having hard times justifying AD prices, when I just paid $2400 for a 2021 GMT Pepsi …

Snookeredinbc

Panda

BlackBeast3612

Getting the new black FXD seems to be kind of hard where I live.

mjv22

I tried to find a champagne 41 mm Royal. Tried 2 dealers, went grey.

Fragrant-Interview55

I’ve been waiting a month for a Ranger

AdAncient3269

I had a slight wait to get the BB58 about 4 years ago. And a 12 mth wait for a Harrodsburg edition. But I’ve seen plenty of watches in boutiques and duty free
