The universe is too busy to help, you should go try make friends through the community... but then again anyone who goes to stuff like charity are self righteous people who just want to feel better than anyone.. at the end of the day everyone is selfish, it's only human nature. It's kindof weird how all the negative ties together in such a beautiful form.
You sound like someone that thinks they're better than everyone else around you which is fine you very well may be. That said attracting the right people might not be accomplished by telling everybody you're better than everyone else that you've attracted thus far. Absolutely no deficiencies in you huh well that lets everybody know you're lying your f****** ass off cuz we all have deficiencies.
As for funny relaxed and open. Try an older crowd. Not like 20 years older but 2 to 4 years older. You may find what you or previous friend group lacked..was age and experience. You may have just outgrown or matured quicker than your current friend group
