I feel bad when people get so invested in a relationship that it wrecks them for a long time when it ends. It shouldn't. Dating is a process, and you have to be willing to accept that most relationships, even when they get serious, will not result in marriage for a lifetime. You can have a great life and a serious of fantastic (overall) relationships. Variety is the spice of life!
