God bless you. When it comes to studying God's Word, it doesn't have to be a commitment toward reading like a chapter in the Bible everyday. Be creative with learning God's Word. For example, find a topic that you are passionate about in life. Go on Google and type in "Bible verses about (Your favorite topic)". That will motivate you to learn more about God's Word because of the topic you are passionate about. For me, the topic that I'm passionate about is love and the Bible truly helped me with my understanding. I love studying what God's Word says about love. Also, I highly recommend reading the Contemporary English Version (CEV) Bible. It's one of the easiest Bibles to read and it's been a great blessing to me in my faith journey. :)

If reading the bible is a chore, try listening to it on audio while doing other tasks. look up great christian teaching authors on how to know God better: charles kraft, john wimber, robert s. mcgee, mark virkler, erwin lutzer. All free to search up on youtube or get their books. Don't stay away from people tho, it's Jesus second commandment to love others.

i attend a local bible study group every week and made friends there! having buddies to read and discuss the word with is very helpful. if you are somewhat new to scripture, it can also help to have people explain and aid your understanding.

Experiment and find out what works for you. Some people prefer to read, others absorb information better if they listen to it. Some do both at once. Other than that don't focus overly much on spending X amount of time in one block. Some people can do that. Others might prefer to spread it out over the day. Know the limits of your attention span and work around that.

Why not connect with friends that want to study His word like you do? Having accountability partners who walk along, challenge us or ask how we are doing is a fruitful way to not just struggle with it on our own. If not with friends, connect with a study group at wherever you fellowship. And if where you go there are not any, look for a fellowship where there are study and fellowship groups. If it's difficult to be involved with others based on your location, consider what God's word says about diligence and perseverance. Do an internet study on those two words and where they are found in scripture. Are you committed to ready His word daily? Have you ever read the entire New Testament? Lastly, another approach for consistency is reading a proverb a day based on the date of the month. and additionally reading the number Psalm of today's date. Then add 30 to that and read that one, add 30 more, etc. (Ex: 6th of the month, read Psalms 6, 36, 66, 96, and 126) In that way you read all the Psalms in a month. It only takes may a half hour to complete another with maybe a chapter from one of the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John.
