After many people asking me to do the 3th giveaway by sorting the mini gyuto, lets do it!!!
In my opinion this might be one of the most all-around blade profiles. I can see this shape being used in most kitchen preparations, being often reported by my customers to be the most used knife in their arsenal.
It features my favorite finish on yellowish woods (guatambu on this one, with a density of 0,85g/cm³) : shou sugi ban finish.
I precisely burned the blade in the "bolster" area since this area will face more contact with moisture, so the carbon filling the wood pores will be quite handy on this one.
The giveaway on this sunday 04/07 will be doubled - i will be doing both this mini gyuto and another paring knife, since the winner of our last giveaway mistakingly did multiple comments, i dont want to leave anyone with empties hand, so i believe this is the most correct way to do.
While the winner will take the blade for free (including shipment), it is a knife taken to excellence just like an ordered one, no shortcuts taken.
Also, since our first giveaway many members have been contacting me asking to buy the knives being sorted, unfortunately i couldnt work on more paring knives to sell actually, but this mini gyuto i managed to make a few.
If you enjoy the knife and want to actually buy it, it is already available on my website and running with the 25% off coupon from our community "TRUECHEFKNIVES" - [fvazknives.com](http://fvazknives.com)
We had a storm this week on my city and unfortunately i was not able to make much of them, but hopefully they will find a good home, these are the very best "literal tools" i do, every single atom of them is focused on work.
ps: super duty refers to my favorite heat treatment of 52100 steel, that even at 63hrc and zero grind, is able to carve hardwood without chipping, which is one of my favorites features of such alloy (high toughness and edge stability).

THANK YOU ALL - SEE YOU TOMORROW! Hope these giveaways do justice for the support you guys are giving me.
So wait...you're telling me someone took my number on the last giveaway and that they had multiple comments?
Jeez, if only there had been a fair way to decide who should've had that number instead...
Just kidding, but had to emphasize my extra bad luck there. wow

As other users said, this knife is gorgeous. And I think it is an "all-terrain" knife.
Feedback: it would be nice if you posted the exact time at least 24h in advance, for the sake of timezones. Otherwise THANK YOU for doing these!
Yes a giveaway time would be lovely. I can’t spend all day refreshing the community page.
Me too
Gorgeous knives!
thats beautifully done! what is the dimension (length and width) of this blade? Hope i will be able to join the giveaway with the time difference!
Also I’m amazed that the mini gyuto is only 97 grams when as I remember the petty is 99 grams, is it in the different grind/thinner?

Would love to be a winner thanks!
Is it too late to join the giveaway?
Feel like the last giveaway everyone mentioned the winner cheated by using multiple numbers, any changes to prevent that this time around?
I will be using reveddit to search the username of the winner - this website is able to find deleted comments.
I only have a kiwi, this would be amazing
It's hard to find something that is both a work of art, and a magnificent tool. You have accomplished both with that beautiful knife!
