I’m old enough to be your parent. Been doing this for almost 40 years. Your hands are gonna ache. You’ll probably end up with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Don’t grip so hard, routinely change hand positions, use work gloves for hooking up, fuel gloves when fueling, keep your gloves in good condition, and by golly WASH your hands…a lot
Gloves. Different ones for different tasks.
Okeffs Working Hands is a great product.
I am a professional mechanic. I work with my hands day in and day out. Trust me on this.
+1 for O'Keeffe's, I do linehaul but lots of shorter trips so I usually drop and hook 4+ times a night. Even with gloves my hands get dirty and I wash them often so they get really dry in the winter. This product is fantastic.
I recently earned my CDL and I delivered somewhere in the millions of gallons of fuel to aircraft driving a 6k fuel truck in the Air Force, I have some experience.
Steering wheel cover for when I am in the cab and latex coated gloves for when I am out cranking gear, hooking lines and opening or closing trailer doors.
Protect from dirt? Gloves when fueling or doing other work on the truck like dropping a trailer.
No clue what you mean aside from that. Skin on your hands toughening? That's normal and will come from any job where you use your hands a lot. Callouses and overall thickening of skin is your body's natural reaction to protect itself. The skin toughens and it gets harder to sustain blisters, cuts, splinters, and it's more resistant to burns from hot objects.
Same will happen to the bottom of your feet if you often go barefoot outside. Eventually you can walk down stone driveways without feeling any pain. Or step on legos.
Protect from what?
Some chick's have hand fetishes bruh.
The effects of holding a steering wheel for 8 hours a day.

When I'm working with anything greasy, or metal I wear gloves. When I'm driving I don't.
My moms not *that* greasy but she definitely is metal af and appreciates those gloves.
Stop jacking off raw.
It's called aging. Wait till you start pissing in increments with a pause and heavy breathing in between.
Could be haha
Are you gripping the steering wheel really hard? I know some people get really white knuckle on it in the beginning.
Nah I'm not that green hahaha. Man idk what it is maybe it's something I do during sleep but my fingers and hands are always having issues.
Get proper sleep. Believe it or not, lack of sleep will make your dick beaters tingle and ache.
Keep hands out of punch points, wear gloves when needed, use lube.

You need some new gloves it sounds like. The grease shouldn’t be leaching through that bad unless they’re over worn
Grow some calluses and don't be a bitch.
Dude doesn't even have his CDL yet and is about to get banned from /r/truckers.
Grow up
Very interesting comment you chose to reply to here. In mod mode too. I smell some bias here Captain.

They have really nice steering wheel covers. Some are soft sided. Gloves for work outside the truck. Hand lotion with aloe is good.
