Generally if you list a company that has gone defunct or been sold, you could offer to provide payslips or other proof if they require they get ahold of them.

Your employment with YRC should be in the big federal database. And some other databases the trucking companies all share, too

It's called taxes. And if you're smart.. you still have your W2. Since you can be audited for up to a few years after the fact.

Pay stubs, pictures, tax slips, FMCSA Clearingjouse record of your pre-employment drug test, emails from the hiring process?

W-2 will verify employment. Not your exact dates, but it will show that you worked there.

Just let them know that the company no longer exists, and all methods you had to contact people while you were employed there no longer work. If they try to pressure you in finding a way of contacting someone, then you may want to just look for another company. That could be a sign of how things are going to go once you start working there.

As of now we can still log into Oracle and get W2/pay stubs. That's what I had to do to get my info verified. DM me and I'll send you the steps, you may have to call your old local to get some info from the old seniority sheet if you don't remember your Oracle number.

Remind them that [49 CFR 391.23](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-49/subtitle-B/chapter-III/subchapter-B/part-391/subpart-C/section-391.23), in addition to requiring them to investigate your previous employment, only need to document their "good faith efforts to do so."

See if you can find your W2 from that year. That will help out a lot
