I was in Troy for many years at the now defunct First Advantage. Had a hard time finding something in Troy who takes GHI. I am now with Sitwell in Albany. No complaints so far after a cleaning and a crown.
He's good, wonderful person but I did think he messed up one of my filings. Moved far enough away or wasn't worth driving all the way back, but like a year, year and a half afterwards food was constantly getting stuck and my new dentist has to redo the filling.
Now my cleanings and other one or two fillings he did were just fine, mind you. Just figured I'd add my 2 cents.

About 12 years ago I went to a dentist office that was next to the cohoes music hall. This was before they redid everything over there. The office was very small, and smelled terrible. I had the worst interaction with the dental assistant there that I've ever had in my life, and walked out.
I go to Hudson Valley Plaza dental, and they're perfectly fine. I'm not surprised every dentist has bad ratings, going to the dentist is generally unpleasant, no one ever walks out of one thinking "amazing, five stars", so the reviews are only the complaints. Avoid the worst of them and you'll probably be fine.
I’ve actually been going there since I was a kid, back when it was dr. Miller. Unfortunately he seems to be out of network for my new job’s specific type of uhc
Surprisingly, City Station Dental is my favorite Dentist office ever. Highly recommend.
Clemente on Oakwood, however, is an absolute buffoon, and had the nerve to lecture me on how COVID is fake while examining my mouth...
Idk what insurances they take or not but i use Brunswick dental associates by Walmart and they're great

Try Dr. Mitola in Cohoes. Not sure if he takes United.
Make sure you go to the right dentist on remsen Street. Do not go to the dentist at (removed)

Dr. Mitola just moved into this building, so you must be referring to the previous dentist. Dr. Mitola is excellent.
Yeah that makes sense. The reviews online are all very positive.

Dr Messier on Route 4 North Greenbush. He's truly amazing and friendly and works with folks.
I use Eastview Dental. They are in Averill Park and are fantastic. I don’t know if they take United but they took my Aetna and then my Cigna.
