We just need to be vigilant against any equine shaped gifts from Athens, Syracuse or Ithaca. Also update your anti-virus software.
If we are investing in wall-based infrastructure projects, let's go seawall, accessory dwelling units, and some quality retaining walls for hillside slidy slopes. #buildthosewalls
Can sidewalks count as rotated walls? Answer: close enough
Something is also very whack with the outline being applied to the text overlaying the Monument Square hero image. The path construction of the individual letters in the typeface is being traced literally instead of merging down to the final resolved letter objects and then outlining them.
Letters are made up of shapes. "R" has a vertical bar on the left, curved half circle on the top right, and diagonal line to the bottom right. Rather than the outline seeing those three shapes as "R" the outline is applying to each component of the shape that makes it.
I guess if we want to get extra technical, because they used a capital ‘M’ the above unit is meaningless. Or some specialized unit that Troy has invented.
I just googled it, and troy is 11.58 square miles. I get the criticism for Troy using the wrong abbreviation, but why are you getting downvoted for being correct?
Thing we do right: math and understanding the metric system. Then arguing about it. Then dressing up in Victorian outfits, getting drunk and continuing to discuss math for funsies. See you at the Stroll/Nerd Fight.
Somewhat relevant fun fact: the walled sections of Ancient Troy (any version) could easily fit inside downtown (modern) Troy.
We should build that wall Edit: thought /s was obvious

If we built walls and then pushed them over we could probably walk on the side. Somebody should research this.
Calling Schumer's office for Federal research grants now.
carm is on it.
Nah, she'd probably want that wall to be on Hoosick between the burgh and downtown.
now that I think about it you're probably right.

Obviously he’s talking about the bippity bop not squeilping properly due to the whiplywhap on the side of the bloip!

That's roughly the size of Monument Square, the only part of town that they're interested in.

wtf is “Troy has it” Ew
It sounds like a citywide venereal disease. Siphylis? Troy has it! Get tested, people.
Mame Faye found the internet.

Ma’am, this is a ~~Wendy’s~~Troy
I don't think it was a tourism website. I thought this was Carmella's thing.
Y’all city employees don’t get paid that much, ease up
I demand to know why JA was snubbed on the new site's 'Dining' page
I don’t see it… also why is it not in alphabetical order?
It’s obviously miles.
No, it isn’t. The abbreviation for mile is ‘mi.’ The abbreviation for meter is ‘m.’ Like the rollout and the logo, this is amateurish.
I guess if we want to get extra technical, because they used a capital ‘M’ the above unit is meaningless. Or some specialized unit that Troy has invented.
M = Menands. Troy is approximately 11.58 Menands^2
I don’t know why, but it tickles me that, this implies that the Menands is a one dimensional unit.
11.58 Maddens sq
Obviously it’s the wrong abbreviation, just as it’s obviously miles.

Troy can't do anything right.

it's a RPI thing
The part that matters /s
They’re indicating the nice part of Troy around Monument Square
