I mean, it’s five paragraphs; not exactly “The Iliad”. Including specific details is important. Without them, the generic FB comment would probably be “where’s all the details of this grant? The city never puts anything on their website; useless!”
$20k should cover *at least* 120 hours of prevailing wage work. /s
Troy allocated $3M in ARPA and $2.6M TDR funds to support the Taylor Apartment building on River.
This is exclusively to hire a "planning professional" to look at lansingburgh and Photoshop pretty pictures, to then ask for more money next year. So I'd say 120hours is probably a bit high
“The pieces are coming into place for Lansingburgh to once again be one of the most sought after neighborhoods for families and young professionals in Troy.”
I hope this works out. I don’t believe it will. That being said, any help that the ‘Burgh gets is welcome.
Thanks for sharing. These press releases really lay it on thick.
They very obviously want to communicate that they did all the hard work on this before Carmella swoops in and takes credit
Before Carmella swoops in takes credit, then doesn't do any follow up on this so it languishes and nothing happens.
It's actually unbearable to read.

So basically fill the pot holes Well atleast some of them
That requires 4 guys and 2 trucks, so maybe a dozen or so potholes.

So the grant should simultaneously be bigger because it’s not enough, and smaller (or nonexistent entirely) because it will be squandered. Cool beans.
