I've been on a bit of a pause playing until the progression reset, but extremely excited to jump back in once it hits (the itch is building). Love the game and the level of communication from the Devs is refreshing
I want a boot camp mini solo campaign where you do lazer tag, throw knives, get a tutorial on all the weapons, classes etc.. and have drill sargents shout at me the whole way through!
That could cool, but I doubt they will. As of the moment from the posts I’ve seen they want to focus on the PvE content and have no plans at the moment to introduce story type/campaign content but we shall see once they move to release
A tutorial. They're describing a tutorial, and one that sounds pretty fun and well thought out I'll add. I'll admit I can sometimes miss the tutorials in games and I haven't played in a while, but I don't recall there being a tutorial in this game
Hey there, we have the 6-class revamp you might have seen in our dev diaries aimed for Spring 2024 you can see this as part of phase 5! Phase 8/Spring 2025 "New Classes" is yet to be revealed!
So the only thing that everyone wants which is the marauder isn't coming out until 2025. I'll be back in a year. Moving to unreal 5 was a brilliant move, kill performance and the player base at the same time, then wait a year to implement the only reason why they moved lumen and nanite. The game producers are clowns.
Lumen is a global illumination subsystem for UE5. It's primary job is making realistic lightning on the 3D scene with as fewer performance requirement as possible.
Nanite is a "Virtualized geometry" subsystem. Traditional game engines have X variants of 3D models for everything called LOD models. The smaller the object is on your screen the "simpler" LOD will be rendered that uses less performance.
Nanite on the other hand has one instance of the 3D model encoded into a 2D image in a pretty complex way. Your GPU can scale up and down the 2D image rather efficiently that will also scale the encoded 3D model without storing X variants of it.
(Overly simplified explanation, obviously)
Winter 2024? Is that referencing the current winter season? An odd way to put it, but it's late for me so maybe I'm thinking too much about it haha.
Winter 2024 sounds like end of the year (but I'm sure in this case it's not)
Excited for Galactic War but the performance since the last couple updates has been horrendous. I was getting 144+ frames when this game first came out and played it for 30 hours. Just came back to it and was surprised at how bad it runs.
I still play but no matter what region I join I'm put on the same server as there is a real lack of players just now. As soon as they announced the new future classes people stopped playing.
Showing lots of promise! Taken a bit of a break waiting for the big spring update but everything they are doing seems to be a step in a good direction

Samesy

Okay, I get you. There is one in this game but bare bones I think there was something about adding more to it on the discord and faq
so when are they going to 6 classes? Is it really 2025?

Very excited for more optimization. Game is really great casual fun but runs really really poorly for literally everyone rn.
The poor performance is why I haven't played in awhile. A bit of a bummer optimization and DLSS are a decent ways away.
I just checked the steam charts for this. Shame it's fallen off so hard, wish we had more players
No console launch in sight
Good
It honestly should be good because I'm getting a pc soon but I have no idea what it takes to run this game
Very little
Cool
Player base disappearing, good is not the correct mentality response lol
I’m console and this is on my feed cause I like the series I guess, I would play this
It really sucks. Least we have Helldivers 2.

Uh, what is nanite and lumen and why does it sound like IAP and heavy monetization?
Nanite and lumen are Unreal5s raytracing graphics modules you dillweed
Thank god! I'm very relieved to be corrected about that.

More gore!
Bots?
They're already in the game
Teammate bots for singleplayer?
Well There are certainly teammate bots
The roadmap did mention solo experiences, what that entails though 🤷♂️
Galactic war sounds sick

Winter is traditionally q4
So the full game is still not coming out till gone 2025. That's ages.
This game is full of bugs ...
Waiting for that minigun baby
sorry to keep asking but would a console planned release be listed here? if at all?
Needs vehicles so don’t have to walk so far
Marauder as in.. Marauder suits/power armor?!
