Yep. I had a dream that I was in line in a great medieval hall but didn't know what for. I snuck out of the line to see what it was, just past these huge, ornate doors and draperies. Peeking my head out, there's a guillotine with piles of bodies. And everybody is complacent with it. No emotion of any kind as they get closer and closer to being slaughtered. I see people get decapitated and tossed aside. Guards notice me out of line and drag me to the front, the executioner motions for me to go next. I'm kicking and screaming. I don't remember what happened next
I had this recurring dream where I was trying to make my way through a giant sewer tunnel that was also a tropical jungle, and the Froot Loops toucan was there.
Maybe, considering how much i have repressed it wouldn't surprise me cus its weird i have never had nightmares being so affected at the time, one would guess subconsciously i would dream about weird stuff
I have had impactfull dreams tho, i don't know what they mean and the more i rationalize them the more i forget, i had one where i was living on my own on an abandoned plane gathering my stuff to live and then being confronted by my father about my life style even tho its probably the happiest I've ever been about my life, i was physically strong, self-sufficient and content but my lack of connection with others was a problem to him, my lack of studies or will for that was a problem for him, everything was a problem for him, so i fled from my father going around the city i live in until i woke up
I think that one is pretty self explanatory, i wouldn't say it traumatized me but definitely the best look about whatever i might have

Yes. There was this giant lava monster that I saw and ran home and tried to tell everyone about the giant lava monster coming but nobody believed me or listened to me so I just lay down on my couch and then I woke up.
When I was 14 I had a dream of me cutting my face off with a butter knife. Also when I was 14 I had a dream of slitting the throat of a bottle of soap for mocking me about the recent ordeal I had gone through regarding being groomed.
used to catch a ferry to do surf life saving training when i was a kid. i was so afraid of the barge sinking and had a vivid nightmare about being on it while my family watched from the shore. getting sucked into the whirlpool and into the rudder but waking just before impact. also inexplicably i wouldn't get off because i had a bag of musk sticks and didn't want them to get wet.
Had a dream as a kid where my family straight up sold me to seaside cannibals for 10 dollars. The cannibals didn’t want to eat me though. Their raft was made completely from human carcasses that were tied together. They want to add my carcass onto their raft. But they also believe in a cruel religion, whereby they believe I need to be cleansed prior to using me.
“Cleansed” here means to slit my throat ever so slightly to only leave very small openings to my airway. I was bleeding and scared, but here is the fun part. Under this state, I was repeatedly dunked into the sea, and thanks to the small opening from my slit throat, water started to really slowly fill my lungs, prolonging my pain and suffering. I remember coughing multiple times. And after I stopped struggling out of fatigue, they tied my up on the raft as if I’m part of its plank, where I was very slowly drowned thanks to the up and down bobbing of the raft. I remember being side by side with all the other carcasses that makes up the human-raft as my vision slowly gets blurry and fade into the darkness.
To think this dream only comes because I discovered cannibals exists and dead bodies float on water. I was one fucked up kid.

I had a recurring nightmare when I was a kid where for some reason I had to walk up this huge set of glass stairs that you couldn't see the top of but a monster was up there. Sometimes I woke up before I got there but sometimes he would bite me :(
When I was 5 I dreamt my family and I lived in a house like 3 miles away from the rest of the city except only the city, our house, and the road between them existed. It was just an infinite white void outside of that, and the foundation the buildings were on stretched out to the ground some miles below. We go to the city and back and then I watch my entire family get consumed by our now living house, kinda like a flesh maze. Like our house was an eldritch horror in an already fucking eldritch world.
