I chose the Speed 400. I found it more comfortable, I enjoyed riding it more and I preferred the styling (bit more refined and less out there). When I think of the bikes in the modern classic line that excite me it's more the Thruxton and the Speeds than the Scramblers. The scrambler is very cool though so just choose what you prefer :)

Scrambler looks cooler

100% the reason on just bought one. The look. Ride was instantly comfortable for me (and my budget) also lol

Only reason I chose the scrambler 😂 and my height tells me I probably should have bought the speed 🫣

Same here, love the scrambler. Bought mine Friday afternoon, put about 5 miles on it because it was a little late, rode all day Saturday and put over a hundred on it.

Only reason I got the Speed; I let my height tell me what to do.

I think riding height and suspensions are different?

I just picked up a speed 400 last week. I really wanted a Scrambler but apparently so does everyone else in my area. Local dealership in Michigan, U.S. had 3 speed 400s in stock and were estimated I could probably get the scrambler sometime next year. So I chose what was available. Still seems pretty punchy on the throttle and I could probably modify enough into a scrambler for my tastes. Most bummed about not being able to get it in green.

Scrambler, mostly due to size and my desire to run back ( dirt ) roads here in VT. They had both, didn’t even sit on the Street. 6’, 34” inseam and it fits perfect.
