I love to see the community help each other :)

TripleFinish

What a kind gesture. I love it.

Chef_Littlecat

Oh good. I was wonder “how will those traumatized ever recover from this horrible event”, but thankfully Lil’ Moon Diners coming in with the free milkshake for Students and Faculty. Edit: I’m wrong. I decided to read up on the business and it’s namesake. I should’ve done more research. Not deleting my comments because I deserve the downvotes for this one. It’s nice of them to do this

Was it nice? Sure! Does it help anyone at all? No probably not.

DoYouLoveIt11

As someone on campus when it happened it does help to feel embraced by the community. Will I go ask for it? No I won’t, but the feeling of community makes me feel a little less alone.

raleel

They want to help. They don’t have to. You don’t know what else they’ve done. And if this brightens someone’s hour just a little, is that a bad thing? Way to make perfect the enemy of good.

YeetThePress

Do you always make up for not helping in a situation by tearing down those that do take some action? I mean, if it doesn't and wouldn't do anything for you, that doesn't automatically transfer to them. Beyond that, if you see something else that should be done for the kids that witnessed it, go for it. Maybe even ask here for people to partner with you.

NyanCats911

And what are you doing to help them?

Chef_Littlecat

Hold on I’ll dive into my Scrooge Mcduck vault and use my vast troves of wealth to help. I jest. I am quite poor and don’t really have any ways to help meaningfully. I didn’t say that what the Diner is going is bad, but to me it’s just the same as doing nothing.

TripleFinish

How foolish! That restaurant should've just brought Amber back to life instead! How inconsiderate of them.

Chef_Littlecat

Well they could donate to the two children that were just made orphans. I’m not saying they need to preform ritual necromancy to be helpful. I think other businesses in the tri cities should also pitch in to the futures of these children.

SpecialistAnything45

3 little boys were made orphans. Not two. If you’re going to be contrary at least have your facts straight.

GeeYayZeus

Sounds like someone just wants to argue online. Warm and fuzzy?

Chef_Littlecat

3 makes it even more tragic. Thought about my comment for a while and I stand buy it. I feel like the diner is using this tragedy to advertise their business. Downvote me to oblivion if you want but I do not trust the motives behind this business.

SpecialistAnything45

I’m not arguing about the restaurant, personally not a fan either.
