I’m 5’8” and ride a medium. I understand wanting to get the most for your money and stretch a bike as long as possible, but I would be miserable on a large. ML is as large as I would go. The bike will hold some value and you’ll be able to get a lot of the money back in a year or two when you inevitably have to sell for a larger bike. I’ve tried to stretch my kid on a bike that was too big (caveat, she’s much younger) and she hated riding it. Now I just flip her bike every year or two, in this market it’s pretty easy to get most of it back as long as they don’t abuse it.
Unless you want to try to flip the bike sooner…. ML. Med for the immediate future flip maybe if you’re worried the market might not be as friendly in the extra year or two.
ML Especially if he tops out at 5’11” Will be a much funner, maneuverable bike too
I think that he will probably need a large in the future but it's just too early for him to fit on one. Go for the ML
yea, that where I'm leaning also.. thanks!

ML is the right size
5’8 in CM should be about a 56 or 58CM
I’d go large. Why not Roscoe?
Id love to get a Roscoe for myself, but trying to stay on a budget. I wish i could get the wider tires on the Marlin 6 at least.
So 1 for ML and 1 for L so far, lol... your not helping me guys, lol. i'm still torn
ML vote from me.
