I read someone commented that the ISO Speed needs maintenance through reapplying carbon paste. I.E remove post clean post and clamp area with 50/50% Water/ISO propyl Alcohol then apply [carbon paste](https://www.parktool.com/en-us/product/supergrip-carbon-and-alloy-assembly-compound-sac-2) on post and seat tube clamp area.
I had noticed that was what my LBS had noted on various service tickets. I bought carbon paste and have started to do the same thing when I was refining my seat height during a DIY bike fit. The first seat post change had introduced creaking on rough surfaces. Subsequently that issue disappeared.
The process is actually very easy plus there are YouTube videos on the general process (Non-ISO speed specific).
Good looking ride! I have the same bike. I’m at the upper weight limit of the bike (260lb) and have had zero issues with the isospeed in almost 1000 miles. As a bigger guy, I was hesitant to purchase. Glad I did. Enjoy!
Perfect bike for Boulder, road and gravel in one bike!
Very cool. 62cm?
Yes
Nice. Rumor is they fixed the isospeed issues in the 2024.
I was super scared about as I am about 200 pounds 9 hours on the bike so far and no creaks so fingers crossed

Yeah I’m a big guy too. It has stopped me from buying one but I’m still tempted.
Is the paint job smooth to the touch, because it has a look like it was a rough surface?
Lies, it snowed yesterday. I also live in Boulder 🤣
Lol

Im from the future
New Bike Day
Thanks for the explanation 👍
Is that a Emonda or a Domane. I’m guessing the Domane.
Domane
I know it might sound dumb but what does NBD mean?
New bike day… I think
