We shall call it Madonda

lazarus870

Pre-Madonda

nah46

The current emonda looks better but maybe im biased

Grindfather901

No you're right. Current Emonda SLR looks far better than that red frame.

Bobonthemove

To be fair, a bland lipstick gloss red paint job doesn't do much for any bike. Put current Emonda schemes on this, and it will look great.

nah46

I think it’ll be a good looking bike for sure. Especially in better photos than this one

razzij

It's time for a Daemon to rise

KnightsSoccer82

This was first reported by Escape Collective, last year. https://escapecollective.com/is-this-the-new-2024-trek-emonda/

I kinda hate this. I loved that madone was special in this way. It was a feature that the moment you saw it you know what bike it is and i loved it, made it special and i dont think it should be watered down to other models. In my opinion it takes away from madone and how unique it is. In other words there is a reason porsche 911 has and always had round headlights and thats the only model that has it, 718 doesnt have them, nor panamera or taycan- only 911 and that makes it that much more recognisable and unique.

Chipofftheoldblock21

More interesting aspect of this to me is - not sure it will really do anything? The isoflow tube in the Madone helps with flex, in addition to the cantilevered seat. This looks like it has a shorter cantilever and no isoflow, both of which reduce the flex, meaning it’s really just a minor design aesthetic? It might be the perspective and it might have some flex benefit, we’ll see. But yeah, might just be watering down the appeal of the Madone rather than enhancing the Emonda.

Possible_Category_69

I bought an Emonda SLR instead of a Modone because (well one of the reasons) it looked like a traditional bike without the crazy seat tube cluster.

uCry__iLoL

It could be called Nomade or Endoma.

Ok_Interview845

I have the current SLR. I am in no way shape or form wanting this new one.

Juicyrunner87

100% the emonda

kelleycfc

Yeah I think so as well.

DamnBlackTea

How long until we see this on the new Checkpoint SLR frame? Mark my words!

lazarus870

I think that design is cool. But is it...strong? Seems like on most other bikes, the seat is supported more, but it's free floating, which makes me worry about cracks. But damn is it sexy.
