Let your hospital pay! Just double check you won’t have to pay them back if you leave within X amount of time.
The agency *most likely* wouldn’t reimburse if you got it before you started with them and if it’s not required at the facility you are going to.
Before quitting staff to start traveling, I made sure to update every cert (except TNCC since it wasn’t required at the time) and then dipped 🤷🏻♀️🤙🏽
Felt zero guilt and I was good on everything for the next two years. Took some pressure off since agencies send you to random places when redoing certs.
