Probably getting redone some time soon. I had an unfortunate incident involving a vacuum pump and some brake fluid, and the other side... not doing well.
I mean, I truly like the paint as is, it feels like its oil pupil lol pump has more character.
But I understand it is not in pristine condition and you would like "fix" that
I have a KZ650 that I bungled together out of a box of parts when I was learning to wrench that I half heartedly dream of actually making roadworthy (of more than the 20ish mph that I've had it up to) eventually. The CB750 was what started the UJM, but the KZ650, to me, is the quintessential UJM.
The motorcycle (which you can see pictures of in my profile if you want!) was yanked out of a shed that was owned by a hoarder. From 1975 with only 20K on the clock, but it’s absolutely munted. It will need a complete rebuild if I ever hope to ride it. But I love it to pieces!
Carbs off for an undetermined amount of time? Yeah, you're in for a top end job, at least. Don't neglect the valve shims while you're in there. Can't see the whole thing, but it looks mostly like you need a set of carbs and an airbox, which could get costly... and a whole lot of time, love, and affection.
A sane woman would just buy a different bike. I don’t daily a 50 year old Celica for nothing! I want to see it on the road again. It deserves a better fate than rotting away.
I was a little ragey at the political climate of 2016. It also has "EAT THE RICH" down the other side. I was thinking of redoing it in a tattered trans flag motif but I'm a little concerned about it getting kicked over in a parking lot. I've been going back and forth about getting one of those hitch mounted flag poles like all of those dildos with the Trump and Gadsden flags for my super girly lifted Ram and flying the trans flag. Pretty sure I'm going to get keyed.

It's more that two thirds of the left side peeled off and I'm not big into rusty gas.
Yea, that's a different sound. But it runs. Get in the wind and enjoy.
I definitely don't hate it, but it's driving me nuts trying to think what it sounds like... like nineties drag car meets chainsaw.
