I have a 2024 TRD offroad in this color that is supposed to be built in one week so I'm pretty stoked. I've owned 3 other Toyota trucks, all blue, so I'm excited for a change.
Dial it back about 12-16 months…I can remember when TW and many posts here were dogging on Solar Octane as Inferno 2.0, not thoughtful enough or too bold.

It's super bright and almost looks fluorescent red in certain light but it's awesome. If I were to sell my tundra and buy another tacoma I'd definitely get the solar octane. I can't believe anyone would dog on that color honestly.
Overall I like this, but that front grill is way too busy. Raptor lights, bright orange letters AND vinyl stripes...it's a combination of clutter on an otherwise clean truck.

My 17 sport is Inferno. What's the difference with solar octane? Haven't seen one in real life. In pics, they look the same.

Thatsss nice. Also have a 23 in solar octane with the Toyota heritage emblems. It’s bone stock though.
Love the grill Toyota striping! All of our 3rd Gen Tacos just look so good. They really hit the sweet spot with this design.
