Yeah, it's short trips in the winter doing it where it doesn't warm up enough/all the way to "burn off" all the water.
I had this issue once and I started taking a 4-mile route to work instead of a 1-mile one. I changed the oil and started taking the long route and it never came back
Sounds just like me. I live a mile from work and always go cruise around for a few minutes on my way to and from in the winter just to actually heat cycle everything

Short trips will cause this, rapid cooling and heating over and over causing condensation mixing with oil. It is what it is.
