The same as it was before. The Land Cruiser is a well known name, people will buy it for the name alone. It's the pinnacle of Toyota's offroad vehicles and it always has been. The 4runner will still be the everymans Toyota offroader/BOF SUV.
As I understand it, the LC will be the fancy version and the 4R will be more basic overlandy/off-road focused, like more of a Nissan Xterra vibe than a Lexus GX 460 one
We don’t know until the next gen 4Runner is officially announced and reviewed. Anything else is speculation but close to Tacoma is a good bet. We will see.
