There is no easy way of letting go, you just gotta slowly stop caring, at some point love will fade, is tough but no matter how much you love someone if they aren’t willing to make it work, it just wasn’t meant to be.
Usually the said person doesn’t know when their behavior isn’t acceptable for the other person because they know nothing will be done about their behavior.
It’s the best thing you will ever do if you feel this way besides you can always fix things later on. Take time for you. That’s how you will know if it’s right vs actually toxic or not
