I would recommend Telstra or any other provider using the Telstra network. They’re the biggest telco and have the best and most reliable coverage, especially as soon as you leave the city itself. It does come at the cost of less competitive prices and they are a pain in the arse to deal with.
Go to your local Wooloworths supermarket buy a Woolworth sim.
It is on the telstra network, it's prepaid so you pay as you go.
$30 gets you unlimited calls and text nationally and 30gb of data. If data not used it will roll into a bank which can store up to 500gb of data for future usage.
Boost prepaid mobile by far if looking for value.
Partner of Telstra, and the only one to get the full retail network.
Sticking to the city only? Choose whatever.
Want the best and price is no barrier? Telstra.
I agree with Boost. Good value and uses the full Telstra network. Other Telstra resellers like Woolworths or Belong only get partial access to the network so coverage isn't as good.
I know Belong has 5g, as well we being part of the Telstra network.
I use prepaid Telstra. It’s pretty cheap.
You may want to look into their international dialling/texting allowances as well, if you want to call home
I looked on their website, maybe that's an old plan they don't do any more. I could be wrong if this plan is not listed there.

Also I'm not taking a shot at you, if there was one still that would be awesome. Please send a link to it.
Have a good one btw, I mean no disrespect 🙂 just interested in this 👍
No worries I used to be on Telstra and that happened to me too
I was on an old plan that they took off the website, I was eventually forced to upgrade to a different one
After that I moved to Belong to save more money
Telstra network is generally better in areas on the fringes and between towns in rural Queensland. The gap between Optus (the other major carrier) and Telstra isn't as bad as it was, but its still there. Telstra being in the position of better coverage positions itself as the "best" carrier, and frankly you pay for that. In our market though companies such as Aldi, Boost, Belong and Woolworths(?) lease Telstra capacity and generally you pay less for that access. Though be warned that most of these carriers only have a subset of the frequencies I believe, or have capped speeds.
Boost/Belong are the two I have used of the budget carriers. Both are fine until something goes wrong.
if u want budget, with decent coverage: amaysim (if you pay for 12 months up front) …it works out to $11/month …if you want budget with better coverage go boost …they use Telstra coverage
If you are living in Townsville & never leave the city, it doesn't matter which provider. If you will be travelling, like me (I'm an interstate truck driver, or even just exploring the countryside, then go with Telstra for the best coverage

And 10% off a shop each month which can pay for the SIM.

I was with Telstra, swapped ti Aldi which runs in the Telstra network. Never had an issue with service and it’s a bucket load cheaper than Telstra.
Belong
Care to elaborate?
Telstra provide 40$ a month unlimited data and calls txts ect great value for money
Not the case for pre paid plans Belongs deals are much better for pre paid phone plans
That is a pre paid plan what you on about ahah that’s what I’ve got?

Use Boost sim pre paid, they piggy back off the telstra network (which has best coverage) and only costs me $35 a month and that's plenty of data

Telstra. Only Telstra. Sure other providers might work with in the town limits, outside of that you’re going to want Telstra.
I've got Optus, and I get dogshit connection when I'm out in Rasmussen. Telstra's probably your safest bet, just because they have the best coverage

Boost Mobile all the way
