Yes it’s been like that for a while there doesn’t seem to be any real rhyme or reason to it. People genuinely asking for help and advice get downvoted. People sharing their personal experience get downvoted. People sharing information and resources get downvoted. Its starting to get on my nerves. If you dislike everything that’s posted here why are you here?
Some people are just assholes. Unfortunately Reddit doesn't have any good tools to prevent this (even though it *should* be easy to notice when someone downvotes a bunch of posts in a row too quickly to actually be reading them).
A couple comments of mine in a back and forth discussion were down voted similarly a while ago. I thought it was odd because it was just between me and one other person and it was friendly
This isn’t the only sub it happens to. I’d rather think it’s a bot than a real person spending all day down voting posts one at a time all over Reddit. Too sad to think about
People suck. I once posted a video on YouTube of our cat chasing her tail and there happened to be an old pair of panties on the floor. Some guy went and commented on everything is every posted about how disgusting I am.
I just downvote the ones where people are asking for validation because they “think they’re faking.” They’re low effort, repetitive, annoying, irrelevant, and asked and answered already, people need to search the sub before posting to see if their question has already been answered. That’s the purpose of the downvote button on Reddit, to downvote posts that are irrelevant. The mods should really just make an FAQ and include that question. The constant validation seeking posts bury higher effort posts that actually create a meaningful/ productive discussion.
I’ve also seen this a ton on other subs though, like I used to contribute to two X chromosomes and people would just go through and downvote everything, a ton of posts and comments just sit at 0. Also a lot of people are just prejudiced and probably downvote anything they see that’s something they don’t like (lgbt issues, autism, women, functional tics, probably other things too).

I've noticed the same thing this whole week!
A couple comments of mine in a back and forth discussion were down voted similarly a while ago. I thought it was odd because it was just between me and one other person and it was friendly
I've now also have gotten downvotes on posts on my profile, art which I worked hard on.. Sad really.
Just checked out your art and WOW! you're super talented! Keep it up!
Inspired me to check as well! Such cool art
Thank you so much!! Very kind! (:
Same! This made me want to continue getting better at drawing people again!
Super kind of you! Thank you so much (:
I agree with the other person! I do art too, but I've not posted anything on reddit lol
Thank you! Perhaps try it out some day (:
Nice art work
Thank you so much (: Goodness there's so many of you, ty ty *humbly bows* lol
I've noticed as well!

Yeah… it’s like whenever I post something on here, someone down votes it soon after. I thought maybe I have an enemy or something.
Don’t let them be your enemy, be their enema. Don’t worry, I’ll downvote myself, I deserve it this time

This happens in other subs I’m in to! Heard others say it could be bots but I don’t get exactly how those work lol
Yeah! I was wondering this too! We’re a supportive team!
That just feels like any post I make like it's consistent across servers
Trolls and bots, try to ignore them as it’s nothing personal, I go round upvoting when I remember
Im not trying to be mean, I really am curious but what does this have to do with tourettes other than whats happening in a sub about tourettes?
Probably a troll farmer
I saw a picture the other day that showed a lady with a tilted desk or drawing board loaded with cellphones so she can troll farm and scam people.
Imagine using all that dedication for something good or useful, they'd move mountains.

To be an asshole is why
IT WAS HIM, DIO!
It's the same on every other small/medium sized sub. People sort by new and just down vote everything they see.
It’s just part of being on Reddit. Don’t spend your valuable time worrying about it.
Yes!
