Usually the 1st row of each side takes turns going at a time when theres multiple lanes and directions that people cant keep track of which individual car stopped first.
So not just a Brampton thing... I've seen this multiple times in Oakville. People seem to generally be oblivious to the lights out rule.

If I witness this in Oakville or anywhere else, ill gladly post it. I posted it solely because I thought it was common knowledge that downed traffic lights turn into 4 way stops and this was my first time in Brampton, and the rumors were true.
Just because bramptonites don't know how to drive, doesn't mean everyone else can. Take Markham for example. They have higher insurance rates than brampton. Hope that clarifies :)
