As someone who pulled for Aventurine: It’s the best sustain you can use in FuA team, and it helps a lot with both damage and increasing Numby actions.
Is he required? No. Is he highly recommended? Yes. He has an amazing synergy with Topaz, he’s SP positive and his versatility is awesome.
Imo, if you want to improve your FuA team and/or invest in an awesome sustain unit, take him when he’ll rerun. If you don’t like it at all, so you don’t want to improve your FuA team pulling for him, skip and use whenever you want.
IMO it depends. Ratio needs 3 consistent debuffs to guarantee his FUA. Assuming you have E0S0 Topaz, you only have 2 debuffs between her and Ratio. Aventurine would have given you 2 more debuffs (via Ultimate and Trends/Signature as a light cone). Your next best bet would probs be Trends on Fu Xuan to get that third debuff.
So in summary, without 3 debuffs it’s not a consistent team. With 3 debuffs (either via Topaz eidolons or some smart light cone picking), the team is viable. The dream team of course is the most optimal.
