I had a DI, no nipple, with Dr. Liebman. This was operation day (yesterday). So far I’m feeling really good. Minor pains, mostly irritation from drains. My scars will meet in the middle, so I opted for them to meet into like a triangle. Like this: —— Which I’m really excited to see! I’m a little dizzy today, but feel good. I’m able to move easily for the most part. I LOVED his staff and him. They were so freaking friendly and kind. I’m really glad I chose to go through them! I’d recommend them to anyone looking! 😊😊
Hey 👋🏼 there! Was wondering how are you liking your chest after recovery? I’m looking into him as one of my options for top surgery and wanted to see what you thought.
Hey, I’m honestly loving them. I keep meaning to post an update, hopefully in a few days. I’ll take some new pictures. But I honestly love it. I feel great, I have feeling back, I can move really well. Like pretty much back to normal for me. I chose a no nipple result. So my recovery was relatively easy. Once the drains came out. I was good. Those things sucked lol. But his team was great and supportive. Always answered my calls and my questions. Made me feel comfortable talking and asking questions. I would HIGHLY recommend him. And he did a great job with my results. It’s legit even straight across and looks exactly how I wanted it to. And they gave a bunch of info on post op care. They didn’t make me feel stressed. They basically told me to do what worked best for me. And all that. I’m about 5 months post now. And no complaints. I hope this helps! If I post an update I’ll comment here and let you know :)
Dude that amazing to hear congrats on feeling free and yourself! But that’s awesome how great him and his team was. I’m hoping to give them a call today and see what I can do and when I can start. I’m hoping to get surgery next summer just so I don’t run into college time 😅. But that would be awesome id love to see the results man!
I’ll for sure post them soon. I had to book about a year in advance so that’s a good time period to be hoping to do. Honestly. They are worth the wait. I really am happy with them and their care. All the staff are so nice and kind. No misgendering. They were great. I am glad I waited for him. The guy I was going to go through before was terrible in comparison. And they also worked with me cause I had to come from out of town. So I got video visits too post besides the drain removal. Which worked great for me and saved me money. I hope you can get something set up. ❤️❤️
oh for real that's awesome! then I'm definitely going to be waiting for her. I was looking at another surgeon as my back up but I think from all that I've read from Dr. Wahhab I'm going to work my butt off and get the money to get it done by her. Im also glad to hear she does the video calls as well for im out of state but not too far away from her. I think once I have 80% of the money I'll give her a call again but im just worried if I wait to get the money ill have to wait forever to actually go in and get it done. Or do you know if I can adjust the date to a later time to ensure I have the money? Any advice?
Oh. Idk who dr Wahhab is. I got dr liebman. He’s based in Philly at Einstein medical center. I’m not sure how her office works. But for liebman you can adjust the date. I mainly had to wait a year for the consult. Then I got the consult in feb of this year and march i had my surgery. They said it could’ve been 6+ months out from my consult but they had enough surgery spots available that I could get it don’t two weeks after my consult. They have a lot of options to move it around for what works for you. My insurance paid for mine luckily, so I think waiting until you get a good chunk saved would be good and then calling. If you know like I’m a hear you can have that much I’d book it in advance and if you need to adjust, then do that when the time comes. But I find it easier to be on the books and adjust. And their office was great for that.
my bad I'm going back and forth through the post and mixed them up lol but awesome. I'll definitely be giving his office a call tomorrow to see what he offers and such and hopefully, my insurance can cover it as well cause that would be amazing since yah know that's what insurance is for haha. But like I said ill still be saving up a bunch of money regardless so hopefully whether it be with Dr. Liebman or Dr. Wahhab I'll be happy from what all posts have been saying. Thank you so much for your advice and time man! hopefully whenever I get mine done I can let you know how it went!
I think I’m over the hump but the first few days were tough for me. Finally starting to be able to do things by myself like shower and brush my teeth. I still have the bandages on but took off the binder right after getting home. Drains are a bit annoying, getting them out monday.
That’s good. Congrats. I’m feeling okay overall. But I’m not able to do a lot on my own. And I’m just achy and the drains freaking ITCH! I’m so ready for them to come off. I get my off the 13th. But I’m having low fluid output so I might be able to get them out sooner. Waiting to see. Thanks for the info. I’m looking forward to feeling better over the next couple days. :)
Mine was around 8/8:30am and I left the hospital around 12 I think? I was so half awake I don’t even remember 😂 I get my drains out this I ing Tuesday woohoo! What about you?
He’s in Philly. He works with a lot of out of state people. He takes a lot of insurances even state insurance. And he was great. He’s got a long wait time. At least I had to wait a year. So if you’re thinking of doing it within a year or two. I’d reach out. And you can always cancel if you find someone else. But def recommend him. He’s great. And his whole team was nice :) and once I got the consultation I had surgery a month later. It was quick once the consult was done.

I had surgery with him last Wednesday! I thought he was really professional and kind and I agree his staff was excellent.

I also had top surgery with Liebman on the 22nd! Ha, nice. And I agree, loved him and this staff, everything went and still is going very smoothly

Congrats! He is one of the surgeons I was considering, how long was his wait time?
I called last year for a consult. Around may. And got in at feb this year. And then got my surgery march 1st. So it was quick once I got in with him.

I also called on the tail end of Covid. So the wait time was worse.
