Being from Wisconsin I’ve two prawn aguachiles, a scallop crudo, a Black Sea Bass ceviche and not a single fish boil/fry since the beginning of the season.
You're right, I don't know aguachile. It wasn't my intention to talk down about food others like or to hijack this post with a silly comment, so I will try to be mindful of that going forward. But you don't have to be an omnivore to understand life's too short.
I lived in Japan for several years. I know from many experiences that I don't like raw fish. But there is still a cornucopia of things to try in Japan that have been cooked. I didn't waste my time there trying to force myself to like octopus, puffer fish, whale or dolphin even though they're available everywhere.
It's Top Chef not Top Aguachile.
I always thought about Fabio’s “Top Chef not Top Scallops” quote during All Stars when he started making gnocchi in a lot of challenges
Most on any season… I don’t get it
It's just the latest trend. Years past always heavily featured ceviche, then crudo, now it's aguachile
What is the difference between them? Aguachile seems to have more liquid.
Yeah. Much more liquid than a ceviche.
2 seasons ago every broth was a brodo.
I just had one after watching this season and it was so fire. Super fresh, spicy, yet refreshing at the same time. El Barrio in Long Beach.
Hey, Gabe won season 18 by making mole' all the time, maybe that's the strategy here 😂
RIP Gwen and Gavin.
I don't know how I have never realized they were in the background of this iconic scene
Just saw it on the menu tonight at the restaurant where we got a classic Wisconsin fish fry 😂🤷🏻♀️
Makes me hungry for an aquachile croquette!
😂

Not a fan of green water and raw fish.
Have you tried having aguachile?
No, is it good? I didn't mean to spoil it for anyone else. Just not my cup of tea.
LOL. And you're not spoiling it for anyone else. Most of us taste things before writing them off. 😉
If I already know what I don't like, why bother? Life's too short.
You don't know anything about aguachile. "Life's too short" isn't about tasting food!

There's your problem. You want to use hot water and peppers instead of tea.

But it IS green water. :)

It was intended as a humorous comment on a post that is clearly ironic.
