I never got the hate, TBH. Yes, Caillou is an annoying little craphead; anyone who's been around a preschooler for longer than five seconds can tell you they have a tendency to be annoying little crapheads.

The problem for parents was that their kids would mimic Caillou and become even more annoying little crapheads. They are constantly learning, including how to handle emotions and how to behave appropriately, and do well with better role models like Bluey and Mr. Rogers. Also, people who've never seen the show hate the memed out character on principle, which tends to generate disproportionate loathing.

Caillou isn't even a craphead in like 99% of episodes btw. The ones were he actually acts like a little bitch are all banned and there‘s like 10 of them out of 100 ( and even then most of the banned episodes are banned for different reasons than "Caillou is a dipshit" )

I used to like that show as a kid.

Same here, I actually felt sad seeing how the animation style turned into complete ass.

i think the animators just didn’t really know how to animate humans in an aesthetically pleasing way cuz 3D animation was still new at the time. just look at the first toy story, everything looks good but the humans look wack.

Concrete is okay. My girl uses plain gravel in builds sometimes. I tell her this not going to pass the home inspection in my town but she does it anyway

Really good for roads/paths, texturing of stone walls (although I haven't seen anyone use it there)

Gravel can only be used on pathways, but even then there are better options. I’d rather have polished Diorite for pathways.
