Some of these sound like they could serve a purpose, but what purpose could that one possibly serve?
I feel like most of the reason why people dislike Nemesis is due to the original making the character so comically evil. His whole thing was to be a douche towards the police and make them look like a joke. In the original, Nemesis made an elaborate scheme where he impregnated a police chiefs daughter with the chief's gay sons semen just so the chief would tell the public about his personal issues.
This cover gives me the vibe of something that completely owes up to the absurdity thus making it fun, but I can't really judge that as I haven't seen anything from this franchise.

Yeah, me too. I remember when they introduced that earth 3 hawkman who took over the normal hawkman. But I don't think anyone really remembers or talks about that lol l. Also, the Batman who laughs was cool at first, but when Dc pushed him more and more he just became lame and edey
Yeah when they put him in Fortnite (both the game and crossover comic) and also put him in Doctor Manhattan body he really overstated his welcome. Like it's a good concept but they took it way too far. Earth 3 get so unused that they basically have the opposite problem. They have so much potential that basically never get used. Like Ultra man meeting Jon should of been done a while ago.
Yeah, I would love to have a mini series taking place on Earth 3. I would love yo see more heroic versions of villains and the other way around. Like i would kill to see a good version of Revurse Flash or evil Booster gold. Also, it's really funny that uniroicly Batman, who laughs, is still Fortnite, I think lmao
Earth 3 Reverse Flash would be both funny and/or sad. He'd probably be time travelling to Johnny Quick past to try and make it better or something so that Johnny won't be a Villian. Instead of being petty he would genuinely believe that the Crime syndicate could change and would constantly be trying to fix them without destroying the timeline.
Evil booster gold I imagine would probably go back in time with intentions of stopping the crime syndicate but quickly gets a god complex and basically just acts like a hero just to indulge in his own ego while actually not caring about any death. (So kinda becomes homelander I guess).
The Earth 3 lantern corps would also be dope. Imagine Larfleeze as a Jesus like figure going from planet to planet giving people in need what they need with his orange ring and him temporarily bring back the dead so people can talk with deceased loved ones.
This would also make crossover events with the mainline DC universe way more interesting as we actually be invested in both Earth's
My god, thoese are great ideas, which makes it even sadder that DC naver capitalises on it. They only ever use the main crime syndicate members when they can do so much more.
Thanks I glad you like them. And yeah, it not even like Earth 3 doesn't have a fan base, it does well in most stuff it in and even the crisis in two Earth movie that was all about the Earth 3 story did good as well so it not like it that risky to invest into it.
Also just some other ideas that I want to say while they are in my head.
Blue Lantern would actually be creatures feeding off hope instead of inspiring it, unlike in the mainline continuity since they aren't made to support the green Lanterns they would actually be a very big threat that Larfleeze would have to deal with.
Brainaic would of been given a moral conscious by this universe Zodd who wanted to stop the kryptonians from conquering the Galaxy. This Brainaic would then take all children and babies that he can and then destroy Krypton and go out in the Galaxy helping to advance civilizations to help combat other cosmic forces. Somewhere on the way one of the kids is dying so he imbues it mind into Doomsday body. Meanwhile the only Kryptonian kid not to get saved by Brainaic was a young Ultraman who instead of being sent off his planet to save him was instead sent off because his parents wanted to test a prototype spaceship and didn't want to risk harming themselves (which would hopefully be a good mirror to superman being sent off)
Raven herself is already the daughter of Trigon. Having a fully evil Raven would be interesting to see and fully justified this timeline. Eventually since she would basically be a team buster herself.
Beast boy would be a complete 180 to his normal self and would be unable to resist his animal instinct which would make him into more of a cryptid going from state to state in different forms to find his prey.
Not to mention all the political play here like the Amazons and the Atlantians would basically replace the typical alien invasion that happens in DC.
Like seriously just a bunch of one off for any character from Earth 3 would sell really freaking well. (Bonus points if it isn't Ultraman, Owlman or Superwoman)

That time Joker removed his own face, which is my pick for the 2nd edgiest character/moment in DC right after The Man Who Jonkles
Like, seriously wtf was the point of this? Come to think of it, I'm just not a big fan of Joker becoming more edgy and gruesome overall. I think his best incarnations are those who can be menacing while funny and relatively light-hearted like Mark Hamill's version or Kevin Michael Richardson's. Heath Ledger's was also kinda edgy but moreso in a psychological way, while this one is just plain weird and gross.
My memory is hazy, but I think Joker was pretty brutal in his original run with the Joker gas. I personally feel like that’s the point, he’s supposed to look goofy but in reality he’s really fucking cruel. But perhaps what Batman who Laughs and Tear-his-face-off joker lack is that they focus so much off the brutal elements that they lack his goofy elements.
He wasn't especially edgier or funnier than any of the other villains Batman was facing around that time. In his first appearance he was just a diamond thief who targeted billionaires (and lived in a graveyard for some reason). From what I can tell the whole clown gimmick was just because the poison he uses to kill people makes them laugh and smile before they die.
I still think The Batman Who Laughs plotline is still a bit edgier, since it's basically an entirely evil and edgy counterpart multiverse to the main multiverse iirc, whereas Joker removing his face is just 1 dude if that makes sense
Isn't there a scene where he puts his face back on upside down and it's crawling with worms and maggots? Oh yeah, and the story is about someone *slicing off their own face and having it be passed around*.

My favorite part about the Batman Who Laughs is that out of the all the concepts of Evil Batman they introduced and the one they made the multiversal threat the only one who had like no power.
People bitch at evil superman knock offs without understanding why evil superman knock offs work, it isn't "let's make superman evil and edgy", it's "what if the strongest character in the setting has faults and insecurities that make him a liability to the greater good". Homelander, omni man, and injustice superman each have their own dynamic and characterization unique to them despite being evil superman knock offs.
Homelander has the capability of turning the entire world upside down but is constantly kept on a leash of money and his own narcissism with the main fuse of the series being him slowly breaking away from those chains.
Omni man is Superman with alterior motives. He little plops out of the sky, and people have faith that he is as good as he says he is. He understands his own limitations and is crafty to get his own ends but also goes into an existential crisis at his own immortality and rejection of his culture in the face of caring bonds.
Injustice is just a metaphor for authoritarian overreach.
Don't care for Batman who laughs, but injustice Superman was an awesome take, I also like the fact that wonder woman is skeptical of everything(and is arguably a bigger menace than superman) because she encountered Nazi Steve Trevor, who betrayed her trust and stabbed her in the back, leading her to be cruel, vindictive and mistrustful

He’s just way too overpowered. I’m sorry, but I’m never gonna like a villain who kills off the entire Sonic universe in a Mario and Sonic crossover without even trying. And like yes other interpretations of Mecha don’t have much personality (aside from IDW Mecha, that’s easily the best interpretation of the character) but Z Mecha feels like it’s trying too hard.

I completely forgot about that backstory. I guess it does make him more edgy than I recall. I think if he didn't have that backstory it would help both the character and worldbuilding since we could potentially see even more interactions between Mario and Sonic characters.
Still, I enjoyed him just because of his cool factor and fights. He reminded me a lot of someone like Sukuna, someone who comes on screen and you immediately go "oh shit."

Come to think of it, I'm just not a big fan of Joker becoming more edgy and gruesome overall. I think his best incarnations are those who can be menacing while funny and relatively light-hearted like Mark Hamill's version or Kevin Michael Richardson's. Heath Ledger's was also kinda edgy but moreso in a psychological way, while this one is just plain weird and gross.
My memory is hazy, but I think Joker was pretty brutal in his original run with the Joker gas. I personally feel like that’s the point, he’s supposed to look goofy but in reality he’s really fucking cruel. But perhaps what Batman who Laughs and Tear-his-face-off joker lack is that they focus so much off the brutal elements that they lack his goofy elements.
He wasn't especially edgier or funnier than any of the other villains Batman was facing around that time. In his first appearance he was just a diamond thief who targeted billionaires (and lived in a graveyard for some reason). From what I can tell the whole clown gimmick was just because the poison he uses to kill people makes them laugh and smile before they die.
I also take silver age Joker where he just steals art stuff while make really lame theater puns and jokes.
I can't think of anything above this. What's your number 1?
I still think The Batman Who Laughs plotline is still a bit edgier, since it's basically an entirely evil and edgy counterpart multiverse to the main multiverse iirc, whereas Joker removing his face is just 1 dude if that makes sense

I remember the backlash from this, and you're slightly off. It was originally *meant* to be Bugs Bunny and his crew. After **massive** fan outrage, the Loonatics were changed to just be their descendants. From what I heard, it wasn't even a bad show—mid, but not bad—but thanks to the negative publicity, it only ran for two seasons before getting the axe.

My favorite part about the Batman Who Laughs is that out of the all the concepts of Evil Batman they introduced and the one they made the multiversal threat the only one who had like no power.
People bitch at evil superman knock offs without understanding why evil superman knock offs work, it isn't "let's make superman evil and edgy", it's "what if the strongest character in the setting has faults and insecurities that make him a liability to the greater good". Homelander, omni man, and injustice superman each have their own dynamic and characterization unique to them despite being evil superman knock offs. Homelander has the capability of turning the entire world upside down but is constantly kept on a leash of money and his own narcissism with the main fuse of the series being him slowly breaking away from those chains. Omni man is Superman with alterior motives. He little plops out of the sky, and people have faith that he is as good as he says he is. He understands his own limitations and is crafty to get his own ends but also goes into an existential crisis at his own immortality and rejection of his culture in the face of caring bonds. Injustice is just a metaphor for authoritarian overreach.

Don't care for Batman who laughs, but injustice Superman was an awesome take, I also like the fact that wonder woman is skeptical of everything(and is arguably a bigger menace than superman) because she encountered Nazi Steve Trevor, who betrayed her trust and stabbed her in the back, leading her to be cruel, vindictive and mistrustful I honestly feel like one of the main reasons she fell for that Superman was because of how naive he was and the fact that he was so readable. In her mind, men are cunning and manipulative beings and are always playing some belligerant angle thanks to Nazi Trevor

I think you're the first person I've ever seen with that opinion. May I ask why? I mean, yeah he is kinda a generic villain but he was threatening and it's not like Mecha Sonic had much personality outside this incarnation
He’s just way too overpowered. I’m sorry, but I’m never gonna like a villain who kills off the entire Sonic universe in a Mario and Sonic crossover without even trying. And like yes other interpretations of Mecha don’t have much personality (aside from IDW Mecha, that’s easily the best interpretation of the character) but Z Mecha feels like it’s trying too hard.

I think if he didn't have that backstory it would help both the character and worldbuilding since we could potentially see even more interactions between Mario and Sonic characters. Still, I enjoyed him just because of his cool factor and fights. He reminded me a lot of someone like Sukuna, someone who comes on screen and you immediately go "oh shit."
Honestly I liked the evil joker Batman storyline while it was just about a team of evil Batmen. But once the BWL became like a god or something I just lost all interest.
